Abstract: Some aspects include an apparatus, method, and computer program product for radio resource management measurement prioritization for reduced capacity (RedCap) user equipment (UE). A RedCap UE may be use Half-Duplex Frequency Division Duplex (HD-FDD) for wireless communications. When performing communications with a network, the RedCap UE may make several measurements, including Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP), Signal to Interference and Noise Ratio (SINR), and Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) measurements. To obtain these measurements, the RedCap UE may measure Synchronization Signal Block (SSB), Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), and/or Channel State Information Reference Signal (CSI-RS) symbols. Difficulties may arise when a RedCap UE's serving cell signal timing is not synchronized with a neighboring cell. The RedCap UE may be configured to prioritize measurements over uplink transmissions.

  • Publication number: 20240169481
Abstract: Embodiments ralte to a multi-mode demosaicing circuit able to receive and demosaic image data in a different raw image formats, such as Bayer raw image format and Quad Bayer raw image format. The multi-mode demosaicing circuit demosaics Quad Bayer image data by interpolating a green channel of the image data along each of a plurality of directions, generating a gradient of the image data along each of the plurality of directions, modifying the interpolated green channels based on respective gradients to generate full-resolution green channel image data, which is combined with red and blue image data to generate the demosaiced image data. Interpolation is performed for non-green pixels based on neighboring green pixels along a specified direction, modified by a residual value based upon valued of one or more nearby same-color pixels and a correlation between values of the same color pixels and neighboring green pixels.

  • Patent number: 11991571
Abstract: An apparatus of a user equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for conditional handover between a source base station (SBS) and a target base station (TBS) in a wireless network, the processing circuitry is to decode measurement configuration information from the SBS. The measurement configuration information indicating a measurement event and a first threshold associated with the measurement event to trigger measurement reporting. A measurement report is encoded for transmission to the SBS, the measurement report triggered based on the first threshold. RRC signaling is received from the SBS. The RRC signaling includes a conditional handover command indicating a second threshold for the measurement event, the second threshold being higher than the first threshold. A handover from the SBS to the TBS is performed based on the conditional handover command after detecting that the measurement event satisfies the second threshold.

  • Patent number: 11986322
Abstract: A device for determining a heart rate of a user has a PPG sensor and an accelerometer to compensate for acceleration artifacts within the PPG signal. The device transforms time domain PPG and accelerometer signals into the frequency domain using a Fourier transformation and utilizes the Fourier coefficient magnitudes as indicative of the probability of candidate heart rate values. Candidate heart rate values are determined at sampling times over a time interval and a most probable heart rate path during the time interval is determined using a reward/penalty algorithm.

  • Patent number: 11991808
Abstract: An electronic device may be operated in ambient light. The electronic device may have a color ambient light sensor that is configured to produce color ambient light sensor data based on the ambient light. The electronic device may also have a flicker sensor that has a faster response time than the color ambient light sensor and that is used in detecting dynamic changes in the ambient light. Control circuitry in the electronic device may analyze flicker sensor data to identify the number of light sources producing the ambient light. The control circuitry may apply a frequency transform to the flicker sensor data or make measurements with the flicker sensor in multiple directions. Based on this information, the control circuitry may identify the number of light sources and may use this information in retrieving an ambient light spectrum associated with the ambient light using the color ambient light sensor data.

  • Patent number: 11989826
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for navigating a three-dimensional model using deterministic movement of an electronic device. An electronic device can load and provide an initial display of a three dimensional model (e.g., of an environment or of an object). As the user moves the electronic device, motion sensing components can detect the device movement and adjust the displayed portion of the three-dimensional model to reflect the movement of the device. By walking with the device in the user's real environment, a user can virtually navigate a representation of a three-dimensional environment. In some embodiments, a user can record an object or environment using an electronic device, and tag the recorded im and orientation of the programmable device relative to the three-dimensional object at the first time responsive to detection of movement ages or video with movement information describing the movement of the device during the recording.
