Abstract: A distributed file integrity checking system is described. The described peer integrity checking system (PICS) may negate an attack by storing a properties database amongst nodes of a peer-to-peer network of hosts, some or all of which co-operate to protect and watch over each other.
Abstract: A flashing product is manufactured by creating a reinforcing member having a flange shaped to conform to the exterior surface. The flange may extend outwardly from an entire perimeter of an aperture in the reinforcing member. The flange may have top, bottom, and side flange members. The reinforcing member may include a return having top, bottom and side return members connected respectively to the top, bottom and side flange members. The return may extend substantially perpendicularly from the flange to conform to an inward direction of an opening where the flashing product is applied. The reinforcing member may be coated with a waterproof material thereby forming a waterproof flashing product.
Abstract: A expandable fenestration flashing product for an opening in an exterior surface of a structure includes a generally planar unitary flashing shaped to conform to the exterior surface, the flashing configured to extend outwardly from an entire perimeter of fenestration, and an inner portion configured to flexibly seal to the inner surface of the fenestrations. The expandable fenestration flashing product is formed as a unitary structure of a waterproof, expandable material. A method of integrating an expandable fenestration flashing product into an opening of an exterior surface of a structure includes securing the expandable fenestration flashing product described above onto the exterior of a structure about the fenestration, and pressing and securing the fenestration product at least partially into the fenestration.
Abstract: This disclosure describes a context aware scalable dynamic network whereby network information concerning network elements in an untrusted (Black) network are gathered by network sensors, stored at a network sensor collector, and sent to another network sensor collector in a trusted (Red) network through a one-way guard. At the Red network, the network information from the Black network may be combined with network information from one or more Red networks. The combined network information may then be used to visualize a cross-domain network topology of both Red and Black networks, and to implement network management functions.

Abstract: A sign and display system including a faceplate, lens, backing plate, and at least one magnet is described. The faceplate includes a viewing aperture and the back of the faceplate includes a recess in which the at least one magnet is mounted. The recess in the faceplate is configured to receive the lens and backing plate. The lens may include one or more edge protrusions configured to enter one or more small recesses in the side of the faceplate recess to secure the lens to the faceplate. When the lens and backing plate are positioned in the recess of the faceplate, the one or more magnets exert a force on the backing plate to secure the faceplate and lens to the backing plate. An insert capable of displaying text and/or graphics can also be positioned between the lens and backing plate in the recess of the faceplate.
Abstract: A power transfer unit is disclosed. In a first implementation of the disclosed power transfer unit, a tubular assembly of the power transfer unit includes an encapsulated elbow hinge design with a reduced profile that permits substantially off-center installation of the housings of the power transfer unit. In a second implementation of the disclosed power transfer unit, the tubular assembly includes an inverted, telescoping tubing design that does not come apart during installation and use, and in some implementations may act as a stop for a closable member.

Abstract: A system clock signal is distributed to computing devices within a distributed computing system. The distributed computing devices, which may be dual-die chip carriers, include input and output ports on which system clock signals are propagated. The input and/or output ports of various distributed computing devices may be configured and reconfigured according to system preferences or requirements.

Abstract: A system for supporting exterior panels on a substrate of a building structure. The system has a plurality of polymeric bracket members, and each of the bracket members have at least one anchor section, at least one web section and at least one support section. The polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior panel to the substrate of the building structure. A plurality of exterior cladding units are held in place by the bracket members. A plurality of vents are disposed between the panels and the exterior panels, and a plurality of vents are also disposed between the panels and the substrate, thereby forming a ventilation system.
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to techniques for internet group management protocol tunneling. This may be done by electing, by each of a plurality of multicast gateways in a subnet, a designated router in the subnet. The designated router sends internet group management protocol queries to at least one router in the subnet. The designated router further tunnels internet group management protocol reports.

Abstract: Systems and methods for integrating research and incorporation of information into a construction specification involve providing information for potential inclusion in a specification to a user as part of the specification editing process so as to reduce the time spent in finding and researching information and including the information in the specification. A template specification with sections is provided, each section having one or more computer links corresponding to potential customization of the section with customized information. In response to selection of the link, construction information for potential inclusion in the template specification as a customization thereof corresponding to the selected computer link is retrieved from a database of construction information and is displayed adjacent the template specification.

Abstract: A system for dispensing texture material in an orange peel pattern has an aerosol dispenser and a contained material. The aerosol dispenser is a container assembly, a valve assembly, and an outlet assembly. The contained material is texture material and propellant material. The texture material comprises water as a solvent/carrer, latex binder, fillers, and drier accelerant. The outlet assembly alters the cross-sectional of the outlet opening to correspond to a desired orange peel texture pattern. The valve assembly allows the propellant material to force at least a portion of the texture material out of the outlet opening in a spray pattern corresponding to the desired orange peel texture pattern. The drier accelerant promotes drying of the dispensed texture material.
