Abstract: A driving module for a driving device of a display system includes a control unit, for generating a control signal according to a polarity signal indicating whether the driving device performs a polarity inversion; a first driving unit, coupled to the control unit, a first voltage source and a second voltage source, for generating a positive output voltage at a first output end according to a first display voltage and charging the first output end via the second voltage source according to the control signal; and a second driving unit, coupled to the control unit, the second voltage source and a third voltage source, for generating a negative output voltage at a second output end according to a second display voltage and discharging the second output end via the second voltage source according to the control signal.
Abstract: The present invention relates to an anti-inflammatory, skin-regenerative, whitening, antioxidant, or wound-healing composition containing a culture medium of adipose-derived stem cell-T (ADSC-T) cells as an active ingredient, in which T-antigen is introduced into an adipose-derived stem cell. The culture medium of ADSC-T cells, according to the present invention, has remarkable effects for treating or inhibiting inflammation by alleviating atopic dermatitis, which is an autoimmune disease, and inhibiting NF-?B activities through an increase of an I?b? expression. Additionally, the culture medium, according to the present invention, exhibits: excellent skin regenerative effects by having effects of enhancing skin collagen elasticity and reducing wounds, in a collagen culture; excellent skin whitening effects by inhibiting tyrosinase activities and melanin production; and excellent anti-oxidation effects by inhibiting DPPH radical activities.

Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for secure electronic message exchange including coupling a control platform to a workstation of a plurality of workstations via a communications medium, where the control platform includes one or more apparatuses for monitoring, controlling, conversion, and billing, related to messages exchanged between a plurality of local users and a plurality of remote users. The system prevents forwarding or copying of a message sent by a local user of the plurality of local users and received by a remote user of the plurality of remote users, to another party by the control platform. The system and method also provides for authenticating the remote user with the control platform.
Abstract: A fastener including a chisel point that pre-bores a hole in a work piece to prevent damage to the work piece as the fastener advances. The fastener can include a head, a shaft and a chisel brake point formed at an end of the shaft. The chisel brake point can include first and second opposing inclined surfaces disposed at an angle of about 80° to about 150° relative to one another. A thread can begin adjacent the chisel brake point and form an extension of an inclined surface and/or a chisel edge. The chisel brake point can scrape material from a work piece while pre-boring a hole. The material can be transferred to the thread, and subsequently fed up the thread, out of the pre-bored hole. The chisel brake point can also selectively retard advancement of the fastener into the work piece. Methods of installing the fastener also are provided.

The apparatus including a connector configured to removably couple the apparatus to a fluid source, a flow path providing fluid communication between the fluid source and a plurality of containers coupled to the apparatus, a sealing element disposed within each of the plurality of containers, the sealing element configured to couple the container to the apparatus and automatically seal the container when the container is decoupled from the apparatus, and a first retaining member and a second retaining member affixed to each of the plurality of containers to position the sealing element in a neck of each of the plurality of containers.
Abstract: A power transfer seat base includes a top fixed plate having a fixed stop attached to an upper surface thereof, a rotating plate mounted on the top fixed plate, the rotating plate having a rotating stop attached to a bottom surface thereof, and a user control interface box mounting bracket mounted on the rotating plate. An operating control having a rotation control switch and a directional control switch disposed on a user control interface box body that is mounted on the mounting bracket. The rotating plate is configured so that the rotating stop and the mounting bracket may be connected to the rotating plate at different positions. The power transfer seat also includes a mounting system that is configured to be connected to the base at different locations in a fore/aft direction and at different locations in a lateral direction.
Abstract: A power supply system effective to provide power to a plurality of different personal electronic devices includes a source of AC or DC power, a power converter effective to convert the AC or DC power to a useable voltage and amperage, a remote power outlet or a plurality of remote power outlets each configured to receive one or more connectors and a signal decoder. The signal decoder determines the requirements of a connected one of the personal entertainment devices and personal computing devices and apply the requirements to the power outlet for powering the device.

Abstract: A gas turbine engine including a composite case having a conductive path therein, and a conductive case connected to the composite case. The conductive case is made of a conductive material. A fastener connects the composite case to the conductive case. At least one voltage discharge channeling assembly is connected to the fastener and to the conductive case. Abstract: A method for forming fin structure includes following steps. A substrate is provided. A first mandrel and a plurality of second mandrels are formed on the substrate simultaneously. A plurality of spacers are respectively formed on sidewalls of the first mandrel and the second mandrels and followed by removing the first mandrel and the second mandrels to form a first spacer pattern and a plurality of second spacer patterns. Then the substrate is etched to simultaneously form at least a first fin and a plurality of second fins on the substrate with the first spacer pattern and the second spacer patterns serving as an etching mask. At least one of the second fins is immediately next to the first fin, and a fin width of the first fin is larger than a fin width of the second fins. Then, the second fins are removed from the substrate.

Abstract: A stock for a firearm is disclosed. The stock has a length of pull (LOP) adjustment mechanism. The LOP adjustment mechanism is biased towards an engaged configuration and is movable to a disengaged configuration. A locating member protrudes into a stock mounting space and a first arm is in an engagement position when the LOP adjustment mechanism is in the engaged configuration. The locating member is translated such that the locating member does not protrude into the mounting space and the first arm is pivoted into a disengagement position when the LOP adjustment mechanism is in the disengaged configuration.
Abstract: A method of fabricating an inlet assembly for a gas turbine engine, the method including defining an intake duct of the inlet assembly between first and second space apart inlet case portions, locating at least one strut across the intake duct, each strut having a proximal end made integral to the first inlet case portion and an opposed distal end engaged in a respective strut-receiving aperture defined through the second inlet case portion, while maintaining the distal end of each strut in the respective strut-receiving aperture, adjusting the relative position of the first inlet case portion and the second inlet case portion until a predetermined throat dimension of the intake duct is obtained, and locking the adjusted relative position by attaching the second inlet case portion to each strut. An inlet assembly and gas turbine engine with inlet assembly as also disclosed.
