  • Patent number: 11798368
Abstract: A gaming device includes a display, a processor, and a memory storing a plurality of sets of reel strips which include configurable and non-configurable symbols. A free game series is initiated responsive to a trigger condition being met in a base game. A player selects from among a plurality of options defining a number of free games and a threshold number of configurable symbols that sets an additional feature trigger condition. The options are arranged such that for relatively more free games, the threshold number of configurable symbols increases. When the additional feature trigger condition is met, a plurality of additional feature game instances are initiated. The configurable symbols are held in place for feature game instances.

  • Patent number: 11798365
Abstract: A gaming machine initiates a feature game in response to a base game outcome comprising a predetermined number of a configurable symbol. For an initial round of a quantity of rounds for the feature game, the gaming machine retains each of the configurable symbol from the base game outcome at a corresponding feature game display position of a feature game outcome. For each feature game display position not displaying the configurable symbol, the gaming machine determines whether to display the configurable symbol with an assigned prize indicia at the respective feature game display position. After the quantity of rounds, the gaming machine awards a prize chance for a specific prize in response to a prize indicia for the specific prize being assigned to the feature game outcome. The gaming machine further awards the specific prize in response to randomly determining that the prize chance was successful.

  • Patent number: 11798366
Abstract: An electronic gaming system includes at least one processor configured to provide a reel-based wagering game. In the game, a matrix of symbol positions is displayed, and during each spin of the reels, the processor determines whether at least one symbol displayed in the matrix is a target (or collectable) symbol. When at least one target symbol is displayed, the processor also determines whether a threshold number of such target symbols have been accumulated from the matrix by the player, and if so, the processor awards a plurality of free games, each of which is evaluated against an upgraded paytable. The upgraded paytable defines a plurality of upgraded awards for a variety of symbol combinations, at least some of which incorporate the target symbol. In some cases, a different (e.g., upgraded) version of the target symbol may be displayed during free games.

  • Patent number: 11790728
Abstract: An electronic gaming machine includes a display device, a memory device, and a processor. The processor displays a matrix of symbol positions formed by a plurality of reels. The processor also displays a bingo card. The processor determines an outcome that includes a first plurality of symbols to display in the matrix of symbol positions and evaluates the outcome to determine a win amount. The processor populates the matrix of bingo positions with the first prize symbol to a bingo position of the matrix of bingo positions corresponding to a position of the prize symbol in the matrix of symbol positions. The processor evaluates the matrix of bingo positions to determine whether a predefined winning pattern is formed and, in response, determines an award value based at least in part on numerical values of prize symbols forming the predefined winning pattern in the matrix of bingo positions.

  • Patent number: 11783664
Abstract: Wagering gaming systems, devices, and methods are presented. A gaming device includes a credit input mechanism, a player interface mechanism, a display, and a controller. The credit input mechanism receives a physical item representing a monetary value and increases a credit balance of a credit meter based on the monetary value of the received physical item. The display includes symbol positions arranged in an array of rows and columns. During game play, the controller is further configured to display symbols selected from the set of symbols on the array. The symbol set includes a plurality of image segments that form a contiguous image when they are displayed in a predetermined arrangement on the array of symbol positions. The controller makes an award or triggers an event, such as a bonus game, if the displayed symbols include the plurality of image segments arranged to display the contiguous image. Numerous additional aspects are disclosed.
