Abstract: An apparatus for first cleaning and thereafter rinsing a bathtub (10) by a cleaning liquid (60) and a rinsing liquid (61). Once the cleaning liquid has reached a predetermined level, the liquid is recycled via a suction extraction device (70) and is returned to the bath via a supply mechanism (11) disposed along the upper edge of the bathtub. Thereafter, the cleaning liquid is run off via a bottom outlet (13). The rinsing liquid (61) is supplied to the bath and recycled thereto via the suction extraction device (70) and the supply mechanism (11). A pump (40) is disposed to supply or discharge, via a conduit (23, 24), liquid from the bathtub. At least one (23) of the conduits is connected to the supply mechanism (11), and in addition control and regulation devices (50) are provided for starting and stopping the pump (40) and for adjusting the valve devices (41, 42, 43) to closed or opened positions for the supply of cleaning liquid or rinsing liquid to the bathtub.
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for producing a continuous liquid flow at a controlled temperature. The apparatus includes mixers (1, 2) which, upstream, are connected to a supply conduit (3) for hot liquid under pressure and a supply conduit (4) for cold liquid under pressure. Each respective mixer has an outlet (5, 6) connected to a common discharge conduit (9) by a first outlet conduit (7, 8). The common conduit (9) is provided with a tap (10) disposed downstream of the interconnection of the outlet conduits with the common conduit (9). The temperature of the liquid which is to be discharged through conduit (9) is adjusted in that hot and cold liquid are mixed in the mixers from which the liquid is supplied to the common conduit (9).
Abstract: A lifting appliance, especially for a patient lifting device, comprises a telescopic column (10) having a carriage (22) which is reciprocable in the longitudinal direction of the column under the action of the telescopic extension and retraction motions of the column. The appliance comprises safety means (37) which are adapted to stop the telescopic motions of the column, in case of defects in the power transmission between a driving motor (15) producing the telescopic motions of the column, and the carriage (22), or if the carriage (22) or a lifting means connected therewith should be stopped by some object in its downward motion.
