Abstract: A synchronized rectification control method for use in a flyback converter is provided. The flyback converter includes a transformer including a secondary winding, a synchronous rectifier switch and a synchronous rectifier controller. The synchronous rectifier switch is coupled to the secondary winding and the synchronous rectifier controller, and is used to output a voltage difference signal and receive a control voltage. The method includes the synchronous rectifier controller detecting a rapid falling edge of the voltage difference signal to generate a rapid falling edge signal, generating an envelope signal according to the voltage difference signal, generating a time length control signal according to the voltage difference signal and the envelope signal, generating a blanking time signal according to the voltage difference signal and the time length control signal, and performing a logic operation on the blanking time signal and the rapid falling edge signal to generate the control voltage.

  • Patent number: 11690604
Abstract: A workspace device including (a) a body having a wall defining an internal volume, collapsible to fit through a laparoscopic passageway in an abdominal wall to an abdominal cavity and expand therein; (b) a first opening defined in said body; (c) a tool channel contiguous with said first opening and extending from said body and configured to remain, at least in part, outside of abdominal wall and sized to receive a laparoscopic tool therein therein; and (d) the body defining an orifice configured to lie in said abdominal cavity when said body is inserted therein, said orifice sized to receive tissue with a minimal cross-sectional area that is twice a minimal cross-sectional area of said first opening, thereby defining a workspace volume to process said tissue in said cavity while said body is not collapsed, using a tool inserted through said first opening.

  • Patent number: 11657241
Abstract: A system includes a first computing device having a first non-transitory machine-readable storage medium, first communication circuitry, and at least one first processor in communication with the first non-transitory machine-readable storage medium and the first communication circuitry. The at least one first processor is configured to execute instructions stored in the first non-transitory machine-readable storage medium to cause the first communication circuitry to receive a first signal from a first transmission medium, calculate a first authentication value for an object based on data included in the first signal, and cause the first communication circuitry to transmit a second signal to the first transmission medium. The second signal identifies whether the object is authentic based, at least in part, on the first authentication value.

  • Patent number: 11646673
Abstract: A voltage supply circuit includes a rectifier circuit, a charging circuit, a feedback circuit and an energy storage circuit. The rectifier circuit is used to receive an input voltage to generate a rectified energy. The charging circuit is coupled to the rectifier circuit and has a modulation input terminal and an energy supply terminal. The modulation input terminal is used to receive a modulation voltage, and the energy supply terminal is used to selectively output a charging current according to the modulation voltage. The feedback circuit is used to receive a high voltage signal and a supply voltage, and output the modulation voltage to the modulation input terminal. The feedback circuit is used to adjust the modulation voltage according to a difference between the supply voltage and a reference voltage. The energy storage circuit is charged by the charging current to pull up the supply voltage.

  • Patent number: 11632036
Abstract: A power controller with short-circuit protection is disclosed to control a power switch, which is connected in series with a current-sense resistor and an inductive device between two power lines. The current-sense resistor provides a current-sense signal. The power controller includes a PWM signal generator and a short-circuit protection circuit. The PWM signal generator generates a PWM signal to the power switch to create switching cycles, each consisting of an ON time and an OFF time. The short-circuit protection circuit has a high-pass filter and a condition detector. The high-pass filter high-pass filters the current-sense signal to provide a filtered signal to the condition detector, which determines whether the filtered signal fits a predetermined condition during the ON time to generate a short-circuit protection signal and to prevent the power switch being turned on.

  • Patent number: 11623717
Abstract: An inflatable flotation device having a reaction chamber with reactants that generate gas when mixed, said reactants being separated by a barrier assembly; an activating mechanism adapted to remove or puncture the barrier assembly such that said reactants mix; and an inflatable compartment fluidly connected to the reaction chamber by means of a pressure sensitive passageway, adapted to open only when the pressure of the gas in said reaction chamber exceeds a predetermined threshold. This ensures that most of the reactants are used up to generate gas before the gas enters the inflatable chamber, thus preventing scattering of the reactants. Some implementations have a reaction chamber without a barrier assembly, comprising reactants that generate gas when mixed with water and an activating mechanism adapted to expose the reactants to water. A variety of manual or automatic mechanisms may be employed to activate the reaction and inflate the device.

  • Publication number: 20230021333
Abstract: The synchronous rectifier controller includes a voltage regulator to provide a control voltage to the control terminal of the rectifier switch. The synchronous rectifier controller compares the channel voltage of the rectifier switch with a threshold voltage to generate a comparison result signal. When the channel voltage is greater than the threshold voltage, the comparison result signal has a first logic value, and when the channel voltage is less than the threshold voltage, the comparison result signal has a second logic value. An inverted comparison result signal is generated according to the comparison result signal. When the channel voltage is less than the threshold voltage, the inverted comparison result signal enables a pull-up power supply to pull up the control voltage; and when the channel voltage is greater than the threshold voltage, the comparison result signal enables a pull-down power supply to pull down the control voltage.
