Abstract: A combination handcuff key and writing instrument finds particular application with law enforcement and security personnel and includes an elongated pen having a writing end and an opposite closed end, and a cap adapted to selectively receive either the writing end or the closed end of the pen. A paddle type handcuff key is formed on a closed end of the cap so as to extend longitudinally from the cap. With the writing end of the pen inserted into an open end of the cap, the writing element is protected and the pen and cap form a hand-holdable handle for the handcuff key that can be conveniently carried on the user's person for easy access. With the closed end of the pen inserted into the cap, a longer length pen for writing is created. The writing element preferably is of the ball point pen type enabling use to double lock a handcuff. An external clip on the cap facilitates attachment to the user's person and enables ready orientation of handcuff key when the cap is disposed in the user's hand.

Abstract: A miniature flashlight includes a high intensity light source supported on a non-conductive battery frame that defines a recess opening outwardly of the battery frame and adapted to receive a replaceable modular self-contained power source, such as a modular battery pack. The battery frame includes a switch side plate which supports a switch slide plate for movement between an “off” position, a first position enabling momentarily closing of a circuit including the light source and battery pack, and a second circuit closing position to continuously energize the light source in response to actuation of an externally exposed switch push button. Side covers are retained on opposite sides of the battery frame and have outer exposed surfaces for receiving indicia thereon.

Abstract: The invention relates to an adjustable flashlight case for supporting a rectangular shaped flashlight and includes an open front flashlight holder for releasably receiving the flashlight and a U-shaped clip enabling attachment of the case to a support or to the user's person, such as by attachment to an article of clothing or the like. The clip is pivotally connected to the back side of the flashlight holder and has an integral flexible tongue on which is formed a plurality of detent protrusions or nubs for mutual cooperation with a plurality of recesses formed on the holder circumferentially about and concentric to the pivot axis so as to enable pivotal adjustment of the holder relative to the clip, thereby facilitating selective angular orientation of the flashlight beam when supported by the case.

Abstract: The present invention provides a flashlight having two switches, an on-off switch and an intermittent switch. The on-off switch allows the flashlight to be placed in either the on position or the off position. The intermittent switch allows the flashlight to be in the on position only when the switch is depressed and manually held down by the user.
