Abstract: A versatile system is provided for transporting stringed instruments between venues, for use during a concert or for convenience during maintenance of an instrument. Storage options within or detachably joined cases are also provided. One or a plurality of instruments may be used in the system.
Abstract: An explosion countermeasure system is provided including a first sensor device with a plurality of accelerometers configured to detect vertical acceleration of a vehicle; a countermeasure; a safe and arming device configured to impede activation of the countermeasure; and a processor in communication with the first sensor device and the safe and arming device. The processor may be configured to process acceleration signals received from the first sensor device and to make ready the safe and arming device and initiate the countermeasure based on results of processing the acceleration signals. Making ready the safe and arming device may be based on an initial acceleration exceeding a first threshold, and initiating the countermeasure may be based on the initial acceleration exceeding a second threshold and a velocity change exceeding a third threshold.

Abstract: A heat treatment vessel configured to receive at least two stacks of food products, includes a chamber with an inlet opening and a discharge opening separated from the inlet opening. The vessel also includes a movement device configured to engage a stack received through the inlet opening and to transport it toward the discharge opening.
Abstract: An oral shield system for protecting an area in a patient's mouth, the system including an oral shield device having a molded body that forms a contoured surface and a pair of wings that extend from the body, and an elongate handle attached to the oral shield device.
Abstract: A product for treating vehicle surfaces, the product comprising: a) a high molecular weight silanol fluid in an amount from about 10 to about 80 weight percent, b) a catalyst in an amount from about 0.1 to about 15 weight percent, and c) at least one solvent. A kit for treating at least one surface of a vehicle, the kit comprising: a) a product comprising: i) a high molecular weight silanol fluid in an amount from about 10 to about 80 weight percent, ii) a catalyst in an amount from about 0.1 to about 15 weight percent, and iii) at least one solvent; and b) instructions for using the product, the instructions being enclosed with or on a container enclosing the kit, wherein the instructions for using the product include a curing step.
Abstract: An oral shield system for protecting an area in a patient's mouth, the system including an oral shield device having a molded body that forms a contoured surface and a pair of wings that extend from the body, and an elongate handle attached to the oral shield device.
Abstract: Upper assembly including slot, hole array. Lower assembly conforming to hips. Lower assembly anchoring holes shaped/spaced as array. Lower assembly fastener hole for each slot; fastener hole having same position relative to anchoring holes as slot to array; having horizontal dimension equal to horizontal dimension of corresponding slot. Adjuster plate including anchoring points spaced as array holes. Each anchoring point dimensioned less than corresponding hole so as to fit snugly therein, and projecting a distance equal to thickness of corresponding upper and lower assembly anchoring hole. Forming an adjuster plate fastener hole for each lower assembly fastener hole. Each adjuster plate fastener hole having same position relative to anchoring points as slot to array. Releasable fastener for each lower assembly fastener hole.
Abstract: A load bearing vest comprising a yoke, a core for carrying armor attached to the yoke, and a waist belt assembly for distributing weight to the waist or hips of a user attached to the yoke.
Abstract: Methods, treatment compositions and treatment systems for forming a detachable and renewable coating on a receptive surface by a process of applying a treatment composition comprising a plurality of hydrophobically modified fumed silica particles colloidally dispersed in a volatile solvent; allowing the volatile solvent to evaporate; and thereby depositing a protective coating on the receptive surface consisting of a layer of the hydrophobically modified particles. The process provides a coating with dirt- and water-repellency properties that effectively shed dry particulate soils as well as water from the treated receptive surface. The methods, treatment compositions and treatment systems are useful in providing detachable coatings and treated articles featuring surface protective benefits including dirt- and water-repellency, self-cleaning with water, and easier cleaning benefits when applied to a variety of automotive and home surfaces, both interior and exterior.

Abstract: The present invention relates generally to compositions and methods of use for an automotive protectant composition and/or automotive cleaning composition. The protectant composition and/or cleaning composition includes silicone, organic solvent, rheology modifier and water. The composition also optionally includes other components. The weight ratio of the silicon to the organic solvent is at least 0.5:1 and generally no more than 3:1. The organic solvent generally is or includes mineral oil.

Abstract: A transport tray for use in an installation for manufacturing food products, the installation having actuators. The transport tray has a chassis and a bottom having two panels mounted on the chassis, each having a first parallel edge and being able to move in rotation about a rotation axis parallel to the first edges between a transport position in which the distance between the first edges is less than the diameter of the fruit products and an unloading position in which at least one of the first edges is lowered so that the distance between the first edges is greater than the diameter of the food products. Each panel cooperates with an actuator for passing it from the transport position to the unloading position. Apparatus is provided to prevent lifting of the first edge of each panel beyond the transport position.
Abstract: An insect repellent device that is wearable by a host or attachable to an object, such device comprised of: an elongated band having length and width comprised of an outer surface to face toward a host or object, an inner surface to face away from a host or object, a first end, a second end and at least one impervious region; at least one front panel having a plurality of apertures positioned over the second side opposite an impervious region and that is attached to the elongated band so as to form a vented pocket with an opening; an absorbent pad impregnated with natural oils that is slidably and removably insertable into the vented pocket; and, at least one means for securing connected to an end that provides the user with the ability to replace its absorbent impregnated pads instead of having to buy another new band.
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes configuring policy settings, storing the configured policy settings in a common document format and consuming the common document format to implement the configured policy settings. Policy settings are stored in a settings document having a common document format that defines how to implement policy operations on the policy settings, the policy operations including configuration, application, analysis, reporting and auditing. The settings document is processed to implement any of the policy operations.
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a floating dock system, the floating dock system comprising at least two dock sections, said dock sections comprising substantially horizontal slots along at least one edge; and at least one coupling member configured to engage a horizontal slot in at least two dock sections; whereby the at least two dock sections are retained together by the at least one coupling member.
