Abstract: An apparatus and method provide for the delivery of an ablation treatment by supplying a control signal to supply electrode of an ablation device disposed at the distal end portion of an elongated shaft. A lumen extends along a longitudinal axis of the shaft. The supply electrode forms an electrode face laterally directed from the longitudinal axis and through which an aperture extends in connection with the lumen. The electrode face forms an ovular shape having a first major axis that extends parallel to the longitudinal axis. An insulator separates the supply electrode from a return electrode, and a transition passage of the lumen extends though the insulator along an arc-shaped path.

Abstract: An adapter apparatus for a cable saw or similar cutting implement includes a hub adapter that may detachably engage a mounting hub of a power tool. A pair of lateral arms extend outward on opposing sides of the hub adapter to a connection interface of the cable saw. The connection interface engages opposing wire ends of the cable saw and provides for a cutting operation in response to an oscillating motion of the power tool.
Abstract: This disclosure details a surgical system and method, which is permits percutaneous insertion of anchors, and is useful in orthopedic surgical procedures involving fixation of soft tissue to bone. Because the anchors may be inserted percutaneously, the anchors can be inserted into bone without requiring a skin incision and without requiring a pre-drilled bone hole. As such, use of the disclosed system and method leads to a reduction in the number of steps in a surgical procedure, which reduces surgery time, while also reducing the size of openings formed in the skin relative to other known techniques, which reduces recovery times and results in smaller and less noticeable scarring.
Abstract: A suture anchor for knotless fixation of tissue. The suture anchor includes an implant configured to hold a suture to be anchored in bone without requiring suture knots. The suture is secured in bone by inserting the implant holding the suture into a hole in the bone, and advancing a fixation device, such as a cannulated interference screw, over a shaft at the proximal end of the implant.

Abstract: Systems and methods for soft tissue to bone repairs employing tensionable knotless anchors, without knot tying. The tensionable knotless anchors may be used by themselves or in combination with additional constructs (which may have a similar or different configuration, i.e., modified according to the specific repair) to achieve novel remplissage and soft tissue repairs.
Abstract: Surgical repair systems and techniques for plantar plate repairs. The surgical repair systems and methods reconstruct the plantar plate through a dorsal incision. The surgical repair system embodies a variety of instruments that provide visualization and access to the plantar plate using suture to complete the repair. The repair system may include some or all of the following instruments: a metatarsal head pusher employed in open surgical space, to move the “capital fragment” in a controlled manner; a suture retriever instrument and a suture retriever funnel (sleeve); a suture passer such as a Mini Scorpion DX and accompanying needle, or a variety of shaped Micro Suture Lassos; a measuring guide; and a small joint distractor.
