    Abstract: Described is a turbine blade with a metal blade body and a protective coating constructed of a porous intermetallic felt, and in the blade body of the turbine blade cooling air channels are constructed that end at the intermetallic felt in order to supply it with cooling air. The intermetallic felt is based on an iron or nickel aluminide alloy with mixing ratios of Fe:Al or Ni:Al of approximately 50:50, and that the protective coating has cooling channels that are facing the blade body and end in the area of the cooling channels. The design of the turbine blades permits their cooling with a smaller amount of cooling air, and, due to improved aerodynamics and a lower cooling air supply, the degree of effectiveness of the turbine is significantly increased.

    Abstract: A power station (10) includes a generator (13) which is driven by a turbine (11). The power station produces electrical power and outputs the electrical power to a network (17) via a generator switch (14). An electrical standby load (18) is also provided. When a network fault occurs, the generator is disconnected from the network by the generator switch and connected to the electrical standby load. The electrical standby load emulates the real load of the network that was present prior to the network fault, so that the voltage of the generator is stabilized at a constant phase difference or phase angle with respect to the voltage of the network that was present prior to the network fault. Alternatively, the value of the electrical standby load is adjusted during isolation of the generator from the network, to track the network while the generator is disconnected from the network and match the voltage phase angle of the generator to the network.

    Abstract: The section of an electrical high-voltage system has a gas-filled housing of predominantly symmetrical design. Provided in the housing are a conductor extending along a plane of symmetry of the housing, and cooling means for producing a circulation flow which dissipates heat loss from the conductor. The blowers are arranged in the interior of the housing and designed in such a way that, during the operation of the system, two mirror-symmetrical circulation part flows are formed which are bounded by the plane of symmetry. These circulation part flows are in each case guided without recirculation along a housing side wall from the top of the housing or the bottom of the housing. By this means, the heat loss is given up particularly effectively to the housing side walls, and the conductor can be loaded with very high operating currents.
