Patent number: 10503753Abstract: A system according to certain aspects improves the process of performing snapshot replication operations (e.g., maintaining a mirror copy of primary data at a secondary location by generating snapshots of the primary data). The system can collect and maintain cumulative block-level changes to the primary data after each sub-interval of a plurality of sub-intervals between the snapshots. When a snapshot is generated, any changes to the primary data not reflected in the cumulative block-level changes are identified based on the snapshot and transmitted to the secondary location along with the cumulative block-level changes. By the time the snapshot is generated, some or all of the changes to the primary data associated with the given snapshot have already been included in the cumulative block-level changes, thereby reducing the time and computing resources spent to identify and collect the changes for transmission to the secondary location.Type: GrantFiled: March 9, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: Commvault Systems, Inc.Inventors: Amit Mitkar, Sanjay Kumar

Patent number: 10503504Abstract: A simulation system that includes a simulation accelerator that uses parallel processing to accelerate the simulation of register transfer level codes (RTLs) while minimizing memory access latency is disclosed. The accelerator has an array of parallel computing resources. The simulation accelerator receives compiled RTLs in which the components of the design are mapped to instructions. The instructions are divided into groups, in which instructions belonging to a same group are logically independent of each other. The simulation accelerator fetches instructions and data for processing by the parallel computing resources for one group of instructions at a time.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: Montana Systems Inc.Inventors: Vivian Chou, Julien Lamoureux, Sherman Lee

Patent number: 10500810Abstract: A decorative covering for a vehicle interior panel is made from two sheets of material joined together at a seam. The sheets of material have matching alignment features along respective edges to aid in visual alignment during the joining operation. The alignment features are spaced along the edge of a decorative layer, and cutouts are formed along a corresponding edge of an attached backing layer such that each alignment feature is visible through one of the cutouts when viewed from the back side. The cutouts are larger than the alignment features and formed before the two layers are laminated together, effectively increasing allowable tolerances during lamination. This construction is particularly useful with leather, which is often subjected to cut-and-sew operations and used with a backing layer.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2018Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: Faurecia Interior Systems, Inc.Inventors: Nicholas Natale, Brad Kusky

Patent number: 10503754Abstract: A computing system includes a processor, a program memory to store an application, and a database. The processor executes the application to store objects in the program memory, with the objects being organized in a relational hierarchy having a plurality of levels, with each object having a respective pseudo-key associated therewith. The processor writes the objects and their respective pseudo-keys in a first level of the relational hierarchy to the database to generate the first level of the relational hierarchy with real keys. The processor receives a first level key map mapping the pseudo-keys with the real keys for the objects in the first level of the relational hierarchy, reconciles the pseudo-keys for the objects in a second level of the relational hierarchy with the first level key map, and writes the objects and their respective reconciled pseudo-keys in the second level of the relational hierarchy to the database.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: CITRIX SYSTEMS, INC.Inventor: Benjamin Reese

Patent number: 10503862Abstract: A circuit editor generates a graphic rendering of an electronic circuit design for partial display in a visual canvas on a display unit. The circuit editor detects aberrant arrangements of circuit elements which violate predetermined circuit layout criteria, such as minimum spacing between the edges or corners of circuit elements, and forms a correction scheme to rearrange the circuit elements such that consistency with the circuit layout criteria is restored. When the aberrant arrangements are not themselves displayed in the visual canvas, the circuit editor generates visual indications of the layout violation and of the correction scheme, the latter being used to guide user correction of the violation.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: CADENCE DESIGN SYSTEMS, INC.Inventors: Sanjib Ghosh, Anup Kumar Lohiya, Preeti Kapoor

Patent number: 10504201Abstract: A server includes a hardware platform, a hypervisor platform, and a virtual machine operating as an independent guest computing device. The virtual machine executes a remote graphics generation protocol to generate a bitmap to be transmitted for display on a client machine associated with the virtual machine, determine a protection label to be inserted within the bitmap, and determine an optimization technique to be performed on the bitmap. The remote graphics generation protocol also determines if the optimization technique, if performed, alters the protection label. If yes, then the protection label is inserted within the bitmap without performing the optimization technique. If no, then the optimization technique is performed and the protection label is inserted within the bitmap.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2017Date of Patent: December 10, 2019Assignee: CITRIX SYSTEMS, INC.Inventor: Chris Mayers
