Patent number: 9696742Abstract: Two-wire transmitters are described in which the required voltage that a control room must supply to the transmitter is lower at high current than at low current, thus freeing up more voltage for other uses, and in which a constant set of operating voltages may be maintained. A corrected pressure in a vortex flow meter may be determined that reflects the mass flow rate. Thus, the mass flow rate may be determined based on the corrected pressure reading and a measured volumetric flow rate. Density may be determined from pressure and temperature using a table containing error values based on a standard density determination and a relatively simple approximation. During operation of a flow meter, the stored error values may be linearly interpolated and the approximation may be computed to determine the density from the stored error value.Type: GrantFiled: January 7, 2013Date of Patent: July 4, 2017Assignee: Invensys Systems, Inc.Inventors: Warren E. Patent number: 9694848Abstract: A High Performance Steering System for amplifying the turning motion of an axle as the turning motion is applied to wheels or tracks at the outer ends of the axle. The present invention generally includes a support member such as an axle which is secured underneath the frame of a vehicle such as a garden tractor or automobile. The support member includes a fixed post and an outer post for each wheel that is steered. Wheels or tracks are connected to the outer posts, such as by mounts. Rotation of the support member imparts forces through sprockets, gears, pulleys, tie rod linkages, or the like to amplify the turning motion of the support member as it is applied to the outer post. The amount of such amplification of turning motion between the support member and outer posts may be varied with differing size ratios of the sprockets, gears, or pulleys.Type: GrantFiled: April 23, 2015Date of Patent: July 4, 2017Assignee: Energy Performance Systems, Inc.Inventor: L. Patent number: 9694586Abstract: The present invention relates to an ink cartridge for an inkjet printer, the ink cartridge having a separate refilling port formed on the upper surface of a main body housing in which ink is stored and having mounted a port cover for opening and closing the refilling port, thereby enabling convenient refilling of ink through the refilling port by an individual user even without using a separate working tool or a specialized company for refilling ink. In addition, by having formed a display window for observing, with the naked eye from the outside, the amount of ink being refilled, the ink cartridge enables the user to easily perceive time for refilling ink. Also, by preventing the ink from being refilled too much or too little when the ink is being refilled, the ink cartridge enables refilling of an appropriate amount of the ink.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 2015Date of Patent: July 4, 2017Assignee: WOOSIM SYSTEM INC.Inventor: Il Bok Lee

Patent number: 9699107Abstract: Within a networking device, packet portions from multiple PDRSDs (Packet Data Receiving and Splitting Devices) are loaded into a single memory, so that the packet portions can later be processed by a processing device. Rather than the PDRSDs managing and handling the storing of packet portions into the memory, a packet engine is provided. The PDRSDs use a PPI (Packet Portion Identifier) Addressing Mode (PAM) in communicating with the packet engine and in instructing the packet engine to store packet portions. The packet engine uses linear memory addressing to write the packet portions into the memory, and to read the packet portions from the memory.Type: GrantFiled: August 20, 2014Date of Patent: July 4, 2017Assignee: Netronome Systems, Inc.Inventors: Salma Mirza, Gavin J.
