  • Patent number: 12126634
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to an installable mutable intelligent security package (“IMISP”) and security system in Internet of Things (“IoT”) networks. According to one aspect disclosed herein, an IoT device can receive an IMISP. The IMISP can scan a plurality of memory locations of the memory for an IMISP operating system process. In response to finding the IMISP operating system process in a memory location of the plurality of memory locations, the IMISP and the IMISP operating system process can conduct a mutual authentication process. In response to a successful result of the mutual authentication process, the IMISP can self-install in the memory location. The IMISP can then scan the memory of the IoT device for an anomaly. In response to finding the anomaly, the IMISP can generate a report that includes information associated with the anomaly.

  • Patent number: 12126656
Abstract: Security rules to apply to resources, including virtual machines (VMs), in the cloud and on network edges can be learned, determined, and tested. A security management component (SMC) can analyze information relating to data traffic associated with a group of resources associated with a tenant. The analysis can comprise an artificial intelligence analysis. Ingress/egress of the data traffic to/from resources of the group of resources initially can be controlled based on a group of security rules selected by the tenant. Based on a result of the analyzing, SMC can determine a modified group of security rules to apply to the group of resources to control ingress/egress of subsequent data traffic to/from the resources, wherein the result of the analyzing can indicate respective first relationships determined between respective resources and respective second relationships determined between the respective resources and respective network addresses associated with the cloud network.

  • Patent number: 12120628
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards user equipment (UE) geolocation using a long history of network information. In some examples, a long history of network information associated with a UE can be processed to identify frequently repeated serving cell and correlated timing advance values. The frequently repeated serving cell and correlated timing advance values are indicative of frequently visited places. Next, the long history can be leveraged to determine locations of the frequently visited places with enhanced accuracy, and the resulting enhanced accuracy locations can be identified in a location lookup table for the UE. When the UE subsequently connects to the frequently repeated serving cell and the correlated timing advance value is observed, the location lookup table can be used to quickly assign an enhanced accuracy location to the UE.

  • Publication number: 20240340289
Abstract: Network access management can include receiving a request to enable network access for a guest user device at a geographic location associated with a gateway device. Connection parameters can be defined, the connection parameters including an effective-from date and time and an effective-to date and time. Credentials associated with the guest user device can be stored with data defining limits associated with the network access for the guest user device, the limits including a date and time limit. The gateway device can detect a guest login using the credentials; enable network access for the guest user device; apply, to the network access, the limits; and determine if the date and time limit is satisfied.
