  • Patent number: 11509812
Abstract: A system of cameras can be used to generate a complete field of view within an edge network. For example, one camera can have a field of view where part of the view is obstructed by an object and/or by the camera's orientation. Yet another camera that is a part of the edge network can supplement the view of the first camera by providing an alternate view. The two views can be stitched together by a coordinate system such that a complete field of view can be utilized by both cameras. Additionally, where a field of view is not available by any stationary camera, the system can dispatch a mobile camera to help supplement the views.

  • Publication number: 20220368859
Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which a processing system acquires a video image and voice data of a remote viewer of a live event content and generating animation parameters relating to the video image. An avatar of the viewer is constructed based on the animation parameters; the avatar includes an animated version of the video image. The animated version and voice data are encoded to obtain a compressed animation data stream and a compressed audio stream, which are transmitted at a low bit rate to a remote system providing the content. The remote system aggregates compressed animation data streams and compressed audio streams to obtain a virtual audience for the event; the virtual audience includes avatars of the remote viewers and sound produced by the remote viewers. Other embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20220360843
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to audio and video synchronization. According to one aspect disclosed herein, an audio-video (“AV”) synchronization system can simultaneously capture samples of a pre-encode media stream and a post-encode media stream. The pre-encode media stream can include AV content prior to being encoded. The post-encode media stream can include the AV content after being encoded. The AV synchronization system can align a pre-encode video component of the pre-encode media stream with a post-encode video component and can determine a video offset therebetween. The AV synchronization system can align a pre-encode audio component of the pre-encode media stream with a post-encode audio component of the post-encode media stream and can determine an audio offset therebetween. The AV synchronization system can then compare the video offset and the audio offset to determine if the post-encode media stream is synchronized with the pre-encode media stream.

  • Patent number: 11495124
Abstract: The described technology is generally directed towards generating a simulated virtual experience that represents predicted interaction of a user/vehicle with traffic in a traffic zone. A user who is considering entering a traffic zone (e.g., that charges a fee for usage) can request a simulated virtual experience of what is likely to occur if the user decides to enter. Based on the simulated virtual experience, which can be a graphical visualization in 3D, the user can make an informed decision as to whether to enter and pay, or not enter. User-specific data such as user preferences and other provided criterion can be used with respect to generating the simulated virtual experience. For current users about to enter the zone, current traffic data is used along with historical data in generating the simulated virtual experience.

  • Patent number: 11483723
Abstract: For carrier's that have a large number of user equipment (UE) devices camped on them, the experience of a user equipment devices that utilize a subscriber prioritization identity (SPID) can be of a lower quality than it would be on another lower priority carrier because of the carrier load. Thus, SPID based UEs can be placed on carriers with the best throughput potential in the uplink. To achieve this, a SPID profile for the SPID based UE can be dynamically changed such the SPID based UE can transition to a carrier of better quality. UE devices are grouped per SPID ranges and each SPID has assigned cell carrier priority. In one embodiment, a system optimization network can monitor and detect UE performance on each cell and determine which cells are underperforming and which cells are performing better than other cells.
