Based on the time window, the location, and the deployment duration, the system determines a testing time window within the time window, where the testing time window satisfies a density threshold indicating low impact to UEs associated with the network. The system deploys the parameter adjustment at the location during the testing time window, and monitors the performance of the network. The system determines whether the success or failure criterion is satisfied, and preserves the parameter adjustment or terminates the test, respectively.

In response to determining that the user device is the UAV instead of the airborne user device carried in the manned aircraft, a base station handover threshold for the UAV may be modified to prolong a communication duration of the UAV with a base station when a decrease in signal strength or an increase in signal interference of a signal provided by the base station occurs.

    Abstract: According to aspects herein, methods and systems for time division duplexing (TDD) management in New Radio (NR) are provided. The method begins with determining if a cell site has heavy uplink use. This can be shown by the cell site using a heavy uplink TDD pattern, which is indicative of users transmitting more data then they receive. Once a cell site has been found to have heavy uplink use, a list of neighboring cell sites is retrieved. The neighboring cell sites may be analyzed to determine if they have heavy downlink use. The method then proceeds to determine if the neighboring cell sites with heavy downlink use can be downlink blanked. Downlink blanking on the neighboring cell sites may then be turned on.

    Abstract: A fluid tight, fully-densified, coating is prepared by a High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (“HVOF”) process that dilutes oxygen with an inert gas. The inert gas is pre-mixed with oxygen prior to the oxygen entering a combustion chamber. The resultant flame temperature is lowered a controlled amount to eliminate, minimize or reduce oxidation of power feedstock that is injected into the thermal spray torch. The ability to reduce the flame temperature allows a relatively smaller particle feedstock to be deposited without significant oxidation. The dilution process creates an as-deposited fully-dense, fluid tight coating.
