  • Publication number: 20250132856
Abstract: The concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to alarm correlation and ticketing for reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (“ROADM”) networks. According to one aspect disclosed herein, a ROADM controller can create, based upon data associated with a plurality of ROADM network elements operating in a ROADM network, a graph of the plurality ROADM network elements. The ROADM controller can retrieve a plurality of alarms from at least a portion the plurality of ROADM network elements, associate the plurality of alarms with at least the portion of the plurality of ROADM network elements, and associate a direction of each alarm with a corresponding service direction. The ROADM controller can eliminate any alarms with a time stamp outside of a same time window. The ROADM controller can then determine that any remaining alarms are associated with a root cause of a failure within the ROADM network.

  • Patent number: 12283767
Abstract: A terminal spring on a female terminal that integrates a terminal spring spacer to underlying terminal bases of said terminal spring to aid in maintaining proper contact interface gap for receiving therein a corresponding male terminal. The terminal spring spacer is integrally, contiguously, or unitarily connected to said terminal spring as a single piece. The female terminal, onto which the terminal spring with the terminal spring spacer is joined, includes a pair of terminal bases, each having a contact zone, a transition zone, and a terminal (wire) zone. The contact zones and transition zones of the first and second terminal bases are substantially contained within the terminal spring. The terminal spring spacer effectively maintains a correct gap through an interface gap between front ends of the contact zones of the first and second terminal bases through another gap between transition zones of the first and second terminal bases for accommodating therein the corresponding male terminal.

  • Patent number: 12284283
Abstract: A digital object is associated with a smart contract that stores a first hash value to represent a user device used to acquire ownership of the digital object. When a request to transfer ownership of the digital object from a first user to a second user is received, a user account of the first user is accessed to retrieve information identifying a user device associated with the user account of the first user. The first hash value in the smart contract is authenticated based on the information representing the first user's device. If the first hash value is determined to match the user device information stored in the first user's account, a token representing the digital object is transferred to a wallet associated with the second user. The smart contract is updated to include a second hash value that represents a user device used by the second user to request the ownership transfer of the digital object.

  • Patent number: 12283283
Abstract: Described herein are techniques, devices, and systems for selectively using a music-capable audio codec on-demand during a communication session. A user equipment (UE) may adaptively transition between using a first audio codec that provides a first audio bandwidth and a second audio codec (e.g., the EVS-FB codec) that provides a second audio bandwidth that is greater than the first audio bandwidth. The transition to the second audio codec may occur in response to determining that sound in the environment of the UE includes frequencies outside of a range of frequencies associated with a human voice, such as by determining that music is being played in the environment of the UE, which allows for selectively using a music-capable audio codec when it would be beneficial to do so.

  • Patent number: 12284238
Abstract: Techniques for setting up a communication session responsive to a dedicated bearer failure are described herein. A telecommunications network can implement a server to determine that a user equipment (UE) is incapable of establishing a communication session using a dedicated bearer due to a bandwidth or technology used by the UE. The server can exchange a user plane message with the UE using a default bearer based on determining that the dedicated bearer failed to establish the communication session. The server can establish the communication session for the UE based at least in part on the user plane message associated with the default bearer.

  • Patent number: 12284173
Abstract: A system and method for security of Internet of things (IoT) devices are discussed. A user of a mobile device, such as a customer of a wireless communication network, may remotely lock an IoT device while concomitantly assigning an ad hoc password to the IoT device that can be subsequently used to unlock the device. Alternatively, an IoT device may self-lock and produce a password in response to detecting its motion. The produced password may be provided to the user of a mobile device and used later to unlock the IoT device.

  • Patent number: 12284582
Abstract: The system receives a SIP call from a UE associated with a user, where the SIP call includes multiple fields, and where a field among the multiple fields indicates that the SIP call is the open-line call. The system receives a first indication that the UE associated with a callee has generated a notification to the callee of the SIP call. Upon identifying the SIP call as the open-line call and receiving the first indication, the system sends a first message to the UE associated with the caller that the UE associated with the callee has generated the notification. The first message indicates to the UE associated with the caller to generate a first inaudible notification indicating that the UE associated with the callee generated the notification.
