  • Patent number: 10291648
Abstract: A system for distributing virtual entity behavior profiling in cloud deployments is disclosed. In particular, the system may include conducting entity behavior profiling closer to where data and data logs are generated, such as at a hypervisor server, in a distributed fashion. By doing so, the system may reduce bandwidth consumption typically associated with transferring data to a central processing system, may be able to use more data collected closer to sources of data generation, and may provide faster reaction times because of the faster processing of data enabled by the system. Additionally, the system may assist with reducing false positives associated with malware detection and other compromises associated with entities by aggregating the results of distributed computations at different sites.

  • Patent number: 10291314
Abstract: A system and methodology to dynamically identify and control a UAV with a beam instrument is provided. Specifically, each UAV is provided with a telecommunication module. User equipment is provided with a beam device capable of measuring the distance, speed and location of a UAV. The user equipment is coupled to a command and control center through a command and control center network that can access a data store storing information about UAVs. Identification of the UAV is obtained through a telecommunication network that communicates with the telecommunication module to obtain location information and identity information for each telecommunication module associated with a UAV. The command and control center acquires the identity information and correlates the identity information with FAA register information from an FAA network. Identification of the target UAV is then communicated to the user equipment.

  • Patent number: 10292067
Abstract: An eNodeB or other cell access point device can receive demand data from mobile devices served by the cell. The demand data can represent an estimate of demand over a future period for network resources (e.g., bandwidth). The cell can aggregate this demand data and determine price data for the time period or for various intervals of the time period, then transmit the price data to the mobile devices. The price data can operate as a collaborative approach to scheduling traffic. For example, data (e.g., delay tolerant data) can be shifted (e.g., delayed for a few seconds) based on an examination of the price data in conjunction a determined priority of the data. Such can be applicable to data traffic not traditionally thought of as delay tolerant such as streaming video or web browsing, and can be accomplished without negatively impacting the quality of service or experience of the client.

  • Publication number: 20190141409
Abstract: A method in a server for providing various Internet Protocol television signal qualities involves an IPTV signal having a first signal quality that is transmitted over a first network connection to a first device. A request to receive the IPTV signal over a second network connection at a second device with the IPTV signal having a second signal quality is received. A determination is made that the second network connection has sufficient bandwidth to transmit the IPTV signal at the second signal quality, and that the second device is capable of receiving IPTV signal. The transmission of the IPTV signal over the first network connection to the first device is ended. An endpoint for the transmission of the IPTV signal to the first device is determined. The IPTV signal is transmitted over the second network connection to the second device at the second signal quality beginning at the determined endpoint.
