The processing and control module includes a first serial bus host controller, a second serial bus host controller, a data forwarding unit and an expansion unit.     Abstract: The present invention provides a digital video broadcasting-terrestrial (DVB-T) system and modulation method thereof. The system comprises a transmission module and a receiving module. The transmission module modulates a video signal to a DVB-T signal. The receiving module receives the DVB-T signal via a transmission line and demodulates the DVB-T signal to the video signal, and at the same time, monitoring the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) or bit error rate (BER), and quantizes them to a reference data. The receiving module transmits the reference data to the transmission module through the same transmission line. The system can determine a control parameter according to the reference data to set the modulation parameter of the DVB-T signal.

    Abstract: A method for extending the range of isochronous USB data transfer, by providing a local extender and a remote extender, coupled respectively to the USB host and the USB device, and coupled to each other via a non-USB cable. After receiving a first In-token from the host, the local extender transmits a first data packet to the host, which contains a data payload having a non-zero length; the data is either generated by the first extender, or previously received from the USB device and stored in a buffer. The local extender forwards the first In-token to the USB device via the remote extender; in response, the USB device generates a second data packet containing requested data and transmits it to the local extender via the remote extender. The local extender stores the second data packet and transmits it to the host in response to a second In-token from the host.

    Abstract: An image processing apparatus is disclosed. The splitter duplicates an original image signal into a first image signal and a second image signal. The first signal converter converts the second image signal having a first image format to the second image signal having a second image format. The image processor stores the second image signal in the memory according to an enable signal and continuously compares whether the current frame of the second image signal is the same as the previous frame of the second image signal. If they are different, the image processor continuously receives the second image signal and stores it in the memory. If they are the same, the image processor stops receiving the second image signal. The second converter converts the second image signal having the second image format to the second image signal having the first image format.
