Abstract: A method supplies a gas, stored in multiple vessels, to a drive assembly of a motor vehicle. Each vessel is assigned a valve for opening and closing the vessel and a gas sensor, in the form of a temperature sensor, for determining a temperature as a state variable of the gas in the vessel. The vessels are connected to the drive assembly via a common line. Along the common line, there is arranged at least one gas sensor, which is common to all of the vessels, for determining at least one state variable of the gas. For the supply to the drive assembly, in each case only one of the valves is opened and all of the other valves are closed. The open valve is closed when at least one determined state variable deviates from a setpoint value by a tolerance value.

Abstract: A method and a device for controlling movement of an outside rearview mirror of a vehicle from an unfolded position to a folded position includes determining whether an ignition of a vehicle is turned off, and determining whether an object has been detected in a rear detection range of the vehicle. The mirror is moved into the folded position, when the ignition is turned off, and when either no object has been detected in the detection range, or when an object has been detected in the detection range and a seat associated with the mirror is unoccupied and/or a door associated with the mirror is opened. The vehicle has a seat occupancy sensor and a door switch.
Abstract: A method for operating a motor vehicle having at least one electric drive component which is cooled via at least one coolant circuit which is coupled thermally to a refrigerant circuit. In a first operating mode of the motor vehicle, an inlet temperature of a coolant of the at least one coolant circuit is set to a first value by active cooling by means of the refrigerant circuit. In a second operating mode, in particular a sports operating mode of the motor vehicle, the inlet temperature is lowered with respect to the first operating mode. As a result, more pronounced cooling of the components is made possible in the second operating mode, as a result of which the maximum driving power of the motor vehicle is increased.

Abstract: A method and a device determine a prediction quality for a predicted energy consumption of a motor vehicle. By determining a prediction quality, a tolerance band is calculated in addition to the predicted driving profile. The prediction quality provides a statement about the entire route as to whether a driver remains in a tolerance band that is based on stochastic evaluation and is naturally occurring. As long as the driver remains in the predicted tolerance band of the driving profile during the real drive, no re-calculation or change of the operating strategy is necessary. Fuel consumption is minimized using the predictive operating strategy on the specified distance.

Abstract: A method and an evaluation system supervise correct belt utilization of at least one safety belt in a motor vehicle, the open and/or closed belt lock state being supervised at the respective belt lock of a vehicle seat occupied by a person and a warning signal being given and/or the safety system of the motor vehicle being influenced if an unclosed belt lock is detected. In particular, feigned belt utilization is also detected by evaluating the temporal sequence of belt lock actuations with respect to further operations and/or states determined in the motor vehicle.

Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a safety device which is changeable between an idle position and an operative position, and an indicator which is rendered operational in at least one of two ways, a first way in which a first acoustic signal is triggered when the safety device departs the idle position, and a second acoustic signal, which differs from the first acoustic signal, is triggered when the safety device has assumed the operative position, a second way in which a first image is optically visualized in a display when the safety device departs the idle position, and a second image is optically visualized in the display when the safety device has assumed the operative position.
Abstract: A method for autonomously controlling a movement of a vehicle includes detecting a respective actual position of the vehicle in temporal succession; recording in temporal succession with a first camera device of a mobile control device images of an operator located outside the vehicle, the mobile control device being held by the operator; determining with an analysis device an actual head orientation and/or a viewing direction of the operator based on the recorded images; and interrupting or terminating the autonomously controlled movement of the vehicle in response to at least one of two instances, a first instance in which the actual head orientation and/or viewing direction of the operator cannot be detected, a second instance in which the head orientation and/or viewing direction of the operator deviates for longer than a predeterminable time period and/or by a predeterminable angle from the actual position of the vehicle.
Abstract: In a method for operating a vehicle which performs an autonomously controlled movement, images of the vehicle are recorded in temporal succession with a mobile control which is held by an operator located outside the vehicle, a position of the vehicle in the images, a change of the position of the vehicle in the images, a proportion of the depiction of the vehicle of the total image content and/or a change of the proportion is analyzed by an analysis device, and in case the vehicle was not or only incompletely detected in the images, the proportion of the depiction of the vehicle of the total image content, the change and or degree of change of the proportion is above or below a predeterminable threshold value, the autonomously controlled movement of the vehicle ins interrupted or terminated.

The motor vehicle has at least one electric motor operating with a fixed gear ratio for driving the motor vehicle. During operation of the electric motor a virtual speed and a virtual gear-shift stage are continuously determined from at least one first operating parameter describing the operational state of the motor vehicle and an acoustic output, in particular an output of an engine noise, takes place on the basis of the virtual speed and the virtual gear-shift stage.
Abstract: The invention relates to a tank venting system for a fuel tank (12) of a vehicle, having a vent line (14) for discharge of gaseous hydrocarbons from the fuel tank (12) during refueling thereof.
