  • Publication number: 20240034295
Abstract: A method for operating a braking system for a motor vehicle, including a service brake unit and the service brake unit is activated to generate a brake force on a wheel axle of the motor vehicle at least temporarily as a function of a setting of an operating element. The generation of the brake force is performed using a calibration data set stored in a control unit of the braking system. An identifier stored in the operating element is transmitted to the control unit and used for a compatibility check. If the compatibility check is successful, a configuration of the operating element takes place and a generic data set stored in the control unit is used as the calibration data set and an operating element-specific data set stored in the operating element is transmitted to the control unit and used as a calibration data set after the transmission.

  • Patent number: 11889299
Abstract: In order to provide sensitive vehicle data of a first vehicle as anonymously as possible, the present disclosure relates to a method for the anonymized provision of the data of the first vehicle for a vehicle-external server device. According to a defined or definable condition, a decision is made between transmitting the data directly to the vehicle-external server device or transmitting the data to the vehicle-external server device via a second vehicle, which has a communication connection to the first vehicle. The data are then transmitted according to the decision. In n-hop anonymization, the data can be forwarded via an arbitrary number of vehicles as intermediaries or intermediate stations.

  • Patent number: 11882260
Abstract: Cost-effective, spatially representative image data is recording in a stereoscopic or photogrammetric image of an environment by a camera apparatus having three holographic-optical elements arranged as coupling regions at different positions on a carrier medium to capture the environment from different perspectives. Light from the environment is coupled by the coupling regions into the carrier medium which provides a light guide that transfers the light to an additional holographic-optical element which provides a decoupling region to decouple the light from the carrier medium. An image capture device captures the decoupled light and produces image data therefrom. A separating device produces the spatially representative image data from the image data by capturing the light incident on the coupling regions in a manner separated temporally or by color.
