  • Patent number: 10420924
Abstract: A connector device for a fluid system for medical purposes is disclosed that includes a main housing having a fluid flow chamber forming two channel portions leading in different directions towards two open attachments, wherein the attachments are provided for connection to a fluid line or a fluid reservoir, and with an attachment port which opens into the fluid flow chamber and which has a closure arrangement and which includes a Luer connecting portion. The fluid flow chamber has a dimensionally stable flow-guiding wall which is arranged between the two channel portions in the fluid flow chamber and protrudes freely with a front edge towards the attachment port in such a way that the closure arrangement, upon opening of the closure arrangement, interacts with the front edge of the flow-guiding wall in order to effect flow of fluid out of the attachment port into only one channel portion.

  • Patent number: 10350351
Abstract: A medical pump, in particular an infusion pump for conveying a medium, includes a seating for a hose clamp which is separate from the pump and arranged on the hose. Two clamping portions of the hose clamp which can be moved relative to each other can be transferred into a closed relative position in which they pinch off the hose arranged therebetween in such a manner that it is not possible for any medium to flow through the interior of the hose. Moreover, the clamping portions can be moved with respect to each other into an opened relative position in which the hose arranged between the clamping portions is not pinched off, so that the medium is able to flow through the interior of the hose. The pump is distinguished in that a sensor is provided thereon, in particular in the seating for the hose clamp, which sensor detects at least when the hose clamp is received in the seating—whether their clamping portions are in the closed or opened relative position.

  • Patent number: 10166370
Abstract: Embodiments of a catheter insertion device are discussed comprising: an approximately hollow cylindrical catheter sleeve, at whose distal end a catheter is attached; a needle sleeve with a hollow needle, which is attached thereto and which, when ready for use, extends through the catheter sleeve and the catheter, and; a needle protective element that is arranged inside the catheter sleeve while being able to move on the needle. Said needle protective element has an engaging section that engages with an engaging device, which is formed in the vicinity of the needle tip, when the hollow needle is withdrawn from the catheter sleeve. A check valve is placed inside the catheter sleeve between the catheter and the needle protective element. The hollow needle, when ready for use, extends through said check valve, and the check valve automatically closes once the needle is withdrawn.
