  • Patent number: 12637639
Abstract: A germination box having a container for receiving grain. A beam is arranged inside the container. Arranged on the beam is a conveyor device, in particular a worm screw, which is arranged horizontally with respect to a base and serves to load and unload the container, wherein the conveyor device is movable in a vertical direction. A plurality of turning screws, arranged vertically with respect to the base, are mounted on the beam and are operated in pairs in opposite directions in order to turn the grain. Stripping tools are mounted at an end of each of the turning screws facing towards the base. The turning screws are configured to be operated in the same directions in order to empty the germination box. The invention makes available a method for emptying the germination box according to the invention, and a method for retrofitting a germination box.

  • Patent number: 12466664
Abstract: A device and method for temporarily storing stacks of piece goods which are provided in a clocked manner at a transfer point integrated in the device or adjacent to the device of a system for producing food products, in particular chocolate products, comprising: one or more storage points, a delivery point, a transport apparatus for moving the stacks of piece goods in the direction of transport; and a manipulator by means of which the transfer point, the delivery point as well as the storage points arranged therebetween can be approached; wherein at least one piece of goods of a stack of piece goods, preferably a plurality of piece goods of a stack of piece goods, can be transferred at once to the delivery point by the manipulator; wherein the stacks of piece goods can be separated at the delivery point and fed to a downstream section of the system; and wherein the flow of stacks of piece goods provided at the transfer point can be decoupled from the downstream section of the system by successively occupying

  • Patent number: 12221288
Abstract: A plant (100) for producing food products, more particularly chocolate products; a module for a plant of this kind and a method for process changeover on the plant (100). The plant (100) includes a plurality of modules (10) in which the food products, preferably in product carriers (20), can be processed and/or transported. The modules (10) each have a module frame (11) with heights (12), widths (13) and lengths (14, 15, 16). The length is a multiple of a smallest module length (15). The plant preferably has modules (10) with a single smallest module length (15) and modules (10) with a length (16) of a twice the smallest module length. Preferably, the modules (10) are designed such that they can be connected or are connected to adjacent modules in the longitudinal direction, preferably on both sides.

  • Publication number: 20240353177
Abstract: A process and device for energy-efficient drying of green malt in a drying kiln using a rotational speed-modulated fan for directing an air mass flow through a bed of drying material for the green malt. The drying is implemented for a specified maximum kiln time. To do this, grain moisture content and a grain mass of a grain are detected, which constitutes a basis for the bed of drying material of the green malt after steeping and germinating, Furthermore, an ambient air humidity of an ambient air used for the air mass flow and a plurality of weather forecast data are detected at least with respect to the ambient air humidity and, during drying, a moisture content of the drying material of the green malt is monitored up to a specified limit. A rotational speed modulation of the fan is controlled such that the specified maximum kiln time is reached.

  • Publication number: 20230065856
Abstract: A malting plant for germinating and kiln-drying grain, having a heating unit with a heating device and at least one expandable germinating/kiln-drying unit. The plant includes a starting module having an air channel; at least one intermediate module; and an end module. The starting module is connected a connector channel and a return channel to the heating unit. The malting plant is configured to selectively conduct air from outside of the starting module into the process chamber(formed by the starting module, intermediate module and end module) and/or circulate air from the process chamber via the air channel into the process chamber using the germinating fan during the germinating process of the grain, and conduct air that has been temperature-controlled by the heating device in the heating unit via the connector channel into the process chamber via the starting module during the kiln-drying process of the grain.

  • Patent number: 6199780
Abstract: When compacting particulate material, such as granular or powdery material, the same is fed to a first section which determines the compaction degree. In a second section, the weight/volume ratio is further increased so that it determines further the ultimate compaction degree. Optionally the compaction degree is controlled a third time within a third section which is normally the final section. In order to influence and to control the compaction degree at least in the first and second sections, energy can be absorbed by means of separate drives within these sections.
