    Abstract: A printing head (100) for a 3-D printing device is disclosed that comprises a nozzle (110) arranged to print a layer (140) of a printing material on a receiving surface (130) and a texturing member (120) arranged to texture the layer or the receiving surface during printing of said layer. The nozzle comprises an outlet including the texturing member (120) and the outlet is shaped to form protrusions (145) extending from a main surface of the layer (140) for interlocking with a subsequent layer. The texturing member ensures that contacting layers formed with the printing head exhibit improved adhesion due to the increased contact surface area between the layers. This yields stronger 3-D articles printed in this manner. A printing apparatus including the printing head, a printing method and an article printed in accordance with the printing method are also disclosed.

    Abstract: Migrating fish often want to travel between different bodies of water, which may be positioned at different heights. To overcome these heights, water passages may be used that provide a water path at a slope over which a fish is able to swim up. A compact housing is provided by allowing a water guide over which the water flow flows to rotate around an axis parallel to gravity in a helical shape. The fish lock may be provided with a resting chamber which comprises a volume of water with a low flow velocity. Sensors and a controller may be provided to control a flow rate of the water through the fish lock according to for example the type of fish passing through the fish lock and an administrator may monitor the fish lock at a distance and may be contacted in case of malfunction.

    Abstract: A laser lighting module for a vehicle headlight includes at least one laser, a scanning arrangement, a light conversion device, a safety mirror, a safety detector and a safety controller. The laser emits light in a first wavelength range and the scanning arrangement moves a beam of the light within a scanning solid angle so a spot of the light moves across the light conversion device. The light conversion device converts a fraction of the light to converted light in a different wavelength range than the first and emits a mixture of transmitted and converted light. The safety mirror is arranged within the scanning solid angle such that at least 90% of the transmitted light hits the safety mirror. The safety controller receives the control signal, generated by the safety detector from the safety detection light, and switches off the laser if the control signal exceeds a first threshold value.
