Abstract: A floating structure includes a riser support system. The riser support system includes multiple carts, each suitable for moveably connecting a risers to the riser support system. A cart includes a support frame and one or more riser tensioners for connecting the support frame to a riser. Each cart is designed for being supported by a cart support structure in a production dock and in a drilling dock, and for being transferred by a crane between the production dock and the drilling dock. Thus, the riser support system enables transferring risers and their riser tensioners within the moonpool from a production dock to a drilling dock without the need of disconnecting and/or reconnecting the risers to extra riser tensioners for support in the drilling dock or during transport.

Abstract: Embodiments herein illustrate patterned servo data that allows the patterned disk to be planarized with a relatively simple planarization process. Abstract: A data processing system comprises multiple data processing nodes that communicate with one another using the FlexRay protocol. Each respective node works according to a respective schedule based on a repetitive sequence of cycles, each cycle having a sequence of time slots. Each node executes instructions, one per time slot, if any. The instructions are stored in a memory. Each instruction is identified by the relevant cycle number and time slot number in the relevant cycle. Accordingly, the combination of cycle number and slot number identify a memory address. Typical instructions appear more than once in the repetitive sequence of cycles for a node. This temporal pattern of occurrences of the same instruction at a node is used to modify the generation of the memory addresses, so that the same memory address is generated each time the instruction is needed. This makes efficient use of storage space.
Abstract: A glass fiber-filled poly(arylene ether)/polyamide composition exhibits reduced die build-up during profile extrusion. The composition includes specific amounts of polyamide, poly(arylene ether), glass fibers, and polypropylene. The reduced die build-up means that the profile extrusion equipment needs to be shut down and cleaned less often, resulting in a substantial productivity improvement.

Abstract: A memory device comprises an array of memory cells for storing data and a voltage application unit for applying voltages to the cells for writing data to the cells. Abstract: A system for fluidic coupling and uncoupling of fluidic conduits and a microfluidic chip, wherein the fluidic conduits are connected mechanically to a first structural part and the microfluidic chip is carried by a second structural part. The structural parts are moved perpendicularly toward and away from each other by means of a mechanism provided for this purpose. Outer ends of the fluidic conduits can thus be moved over a determined distance substantially perpendicularly to the outer surface of the microfluidic chip and connecting openings in the outer surface of the microfluidic chip. This enables accurate realization of fluidic coupling and uncoupling without the occurrence of undesirable moments of force and with minimal risk of damage to the fluidic conduits or the connecting openings. With such system requirements which can be set in respect of convenience, speed, temperature resistance, sealing, chemical resistance, reproducibility and so forth, can be fulfilled.
