Abstract: The present invention provides a stool which is very versatile and comprises a simple cylindrical shape. The stool can be quickly and easily installed at any suitable location and, in particular, can be included in outside areas, for example, parks, school playgrounds and shopping precincts. The stool includes an interior chamber into which a ballast can be located in order to weigh the stool down. This ballast inhibits the easy movement of the stool and, in particular, prevents the inadvertent movement of the stool. The stool is located outside and the ballast is collected from adjacent to the installation site. The stool includes a recycled cut down drum as an inner core with a thermosetting outer covering moulded thereto. Accordingly, the stool and is environmentally friendly and is manufactured using recycled and sustainable materials and is anchored using a locally sourced sustainable ballast material.

Abstract: Disclosure is directed to dynamically creating and embedding code and/or data in an electronic device. In one aspect, data objects are checked for conformance with a schema to prevent incorporation of incorrectly functioning data objects. A debugger may be provided to facilitate source level debugging. In another aspect, embedded interfaces are constructed to access the functionality of certain system components. Additionally, schemas may be complied into code header and files and automatically included in code libraries.

Abstract: A drip tray and base assembly for a beverage dispensing apparatus is disclosed. The drip tray and base assembly includes a base for supporting an urn in spaced apart relation above a support surface, such as a counter. The base typically has side walls and a top wail. A drip tray is provided for laying adjacent the base. The drip tray typically has an upper grill-like surface for receiving a cup, container or other receptacle thereon, as well as side walls and a floor. At least one of the side walls of the drip tray is configured with a drain extension for draining fluids accumulating on the floor of the drip tray. A coupling member with walls adapted to removably couple with the base is provided. Furthermore, a coupling member includes walls for removably and fluid sealingly coupling with the drip tray extension and with a drain line so as to carry fluid accumulating on the floor of the drip tray through the drip tray drain extension into a drain line.

Abstract: A hand lift truck comprises a rolling frame (10 . . . 13) with at least one height-adjustable load platform (11,12) for receiving a cargo thereon. Electronic weighing means (70) are herein provided to determine a mechanical deformation of a part (13) of the frame resulting from a loading of the load platform and to determine therefrom a weight indication of an actual loading of the load platform and to display this to a user on a display panel (85). According to the invention height-indicating means which indicate the reference height are provided in the form of an electronic sensor (88) which determines a height adjustment of the load platform by electronic means and generates an electronic height signal thereof to electronic processing means. The processing means determine therefrom an actual height of the load platform and are coupled to signalling means for the purpose, at least when the reference height is reached, of generating an indication thereof the user.

Abstract: A coating provides a wetting gradient to an orifice surface, the coating having a local coverage that decreases with increasing distance from an orifice. A method is provided for applying a wetting gradient on an orifice surface. The wetting gradient is formed by providing a compound for forming a coating and locally bonding this compound to the orifice surface. A print head is provided with an orifice surface, wherein the orifice surface has a wetting gradient provided around an orifice using the method for applying a wetting gradient on an orifice surface.

The charges and other transaction details related to the content purchased by a mobile device user via the mobile application on the user's device appear in a billing or account statement periodically provided to the user by the carrier or operator of the mobile communication network.

Abstract: An annealing installation for the continuous annealing of metal strip guided through the installation, includes an entrance chute 2, a first top roller chamber 3, a heating station 4, 5, 6, a cooling station 7, 8, a second top roller chamber 9 and a discharge chute 10 together delimiting an M-shaped meandering tunnel with four legs connected with each other via the two top roller chambers and a lower turning section. The entrance chute extends along the first one of the legs, the heating and the cooling stations extend along the second one of the legs, the lower turning section and the third one of the legs, and the discharge chute extends along the fourth one of the legs. Strip feeding and discharging means are provided for continuously guiding the strip as a free-hanging loop between the two top roller chambers through the heating and cooling stations during a process of annealing.

Abstract: A process for preparation of a polyamide PA-4X containing monomer units of 1,4-diaminobutane and an aliphatic linear dicarboxylic acid X with at least 8 carbon atoms, which contains the following steps: 1) making a solution comprising a salt of 1,4-diaminobutane and the aliphatic linear dicarboxylic acid and water, at a temperature at which the salt dissolves; 2) concentrating the solution of the salt at a temperature above the crystallization temperature of the salt, at a pressure of at most 7 barA to a water content of between 0 and 30 wt % based on the total amount of solution, 3) producing a polymer from the solution obtained by step 2, while keeping the polymer in a melt and at a pressure of less than 18 barA, 4) depressurizing the polymer obtained at step 3 while keeping the polymer in the melt to further polymerize the polymer. In an preferred embodiment the aliphatic linear dicarboxylic acid is 1,10-decanedioic acid.

Abstract: A system for and method of providing additional routing information in response to a query to determine whether a dialed number is ported or not. Many customers change service providers and yet keep the same phone number. Thus, whenever a call is made, a service provider may determine whether the dialed number has been ported. This determination may be made via a local number portability (LNP) query to a database. An embodiment of the present invention provides additional information in a LNP query response that assists in routing the call. For example, the LNP response may include a local access transport area (LATA) identifier. The LATA identifier represents a geographic section of the United States and provides routing information. The LATA identifier may be processed to determine the proper routing information for a dialed number. By using LATA identifiers, a more manageable database size may be realized.

Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for performing a plasma chemical vapour deposition process. The apparatus comprises a mainly cylindrical resonator being provided with an outer cylindrical wall enclosing a resonant cavity having a substantially rotational symmetric shape with respect to a cylindrical axis. The resonator further includes side wall portions bounding the resonant cavity in opposite cylindrical axis directions. In addition, the apparatus comprises a microwave guide extending through the outer cylindrical wall into the resonant cavity. The length of the resonant cavity in the cylindrical direction varies as a function of the radial distance to the cylindrical axis.

Abstract: A rotary machine for compression and decompression, comprising a disc-shaped rotor having a first rotation axis at right angles to the plane of the rotor and situated in a plane of orientation and a disc-shaped swing element having a second rotation axis. In the orientation plane, the second rotation axis makes an angle with the first rotation axis. Furthermore, a spherical housing is present surrounding the rotor and the swing element and in combination forming four (de-)compression chambers. A connecting body positions the rotor and the swing element in the housing. The rotary machine furthermore comprises a power drive and a mechanical connection delivering power to or taking off power from the rotary machine. In addition, the rotary machine is suitable for the seamless integration of generator components for generating or using electricity.

Abstract: Method for isolating biomass from an aqueous medium comprising cellular material comprising the steps of: 1) providing an aqueous medium comprising cellular materialalgae; followed by 2) subjecting the cellular materialalgae in said aqueous medium to lysis, whereby a lipid fraction comprising algal lipids and a solids fraction comprising algal solid material are formed, which fractions are dispersed in said aqueous medium; 3) separating at least part of said lipid fraction from the aqueous medium; 4) separating at least part of said solids fraction from the aqueous medium; wherein steps 3) and 4), and preferably also step 2), are performed in a single apparatus. The method is particularly suitable for isolating lipids from algae.
