Abstract: A method of manufacturing an intraocular lens inside a capsular bag after the natural lens has been removed employs a sealing device comprising a plug part adapted to seal a rhexis in a capsular bag, thus preventing displacement through the rhexis of a lens-forming liquid material injected through the rhexis and adapted to replace the natural lens and form an intraocular lens implant. The plug part has a slightly larger area than the capsulorhexis and is made of a deformable polymer. The sealing device comprises an adjusting means connected to the plug part, the adjusting means having the function of positioning the plug part to a desired location.

Abstract: A method is described for recycling used clothes and domestic textile. After examining and sorting the received material (2) and subdividing the received material in a large number of mutually different material streams (3) with to a higher or lesser extent profit making product (WMP) and to a higher or lesser extent loss making product (VGP), the method comprises the steps of: selecting one or more of the loss making products; possibly removing, at least partly, undesirable materials such as for instance rubber, glue, elastic-reducing the size of the selected product; mixing the reduced product with a resin; pressing the resulting mass in a desired shape; allowing the mass pressed in shape to harden.

Abstract: The present invention relates to assays, compositions and methods for the detection and discrimination of specific gene sequences encoding antibiotic resistance in a sample. The nucleotide sequences encoding antibiotic resistance genes are uniquely identified. In particular, these sequences are hybridized to capture probes, enabling real-time PCR. For this purpose, the capture probes may also be covalently linked to amplification primers. Alternatively, detection of amplified products with hybridization to capture probes may be performed after amplification by hybridization to capture probes bound to a solid support such as microarrays and microspheres (beads). Finally, detection of amplification products during amplification in real-time using capture probes may be combined with detection of such amplification products after amplification using the same and/or different capture probes.

It employs implicit construction of a vector field that is related to electric field and a current density by a selection of continuous components of vector field being continuous at one or more material boundaries, so as to determine an approximate solution of a current density. The vector field is represented by a finite Fourier series with respect to at least one direction, x, y. Numerically solving volume integral equation comprises determining a component of a current density by convolution of the vector field with a convolution operator, which comprises material and geometric properties of structure in the x, y directions. The current density is represented by a finite Fourier series with respect to x, y directions. Continuous components are extracted using convolution operators acting on electric field and current density.
