Patent number: 11719822Abstract: An underwater imaging system is carried by a submersible platform to capture images that are processed into three-dimensional images stitched together to create a 3D dimensional video at video rate speeds that are transmitted to a control unit above the surface of the water. The imaging system utilizes a high speed image sensor or camera to capture sequential gated images that are synced via a gating module to two sequential laser beam pulses. The laser beam pulses illuminate an object in each gated image. When the object is within a gate overlap region, the two images may be processed using 3D imaging techniques to generate a 3D representation of the object in the overlap region of the two gates.Type: GrantFiled: July 2, 2021Date of Patent: August 8, 2023Assignee: BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.Inventors: Michael J. Publication number: 20230244824Abstract: An on-chip firewall circuit for providing secure on-chip communication is disclosed. The firewall circuit includes a configurable table of port IDs along with a configurable setting for each port ID to either provide the corresponding port ID with open access to the components of a secure enclave (SE) module or restricted access. If access is restricted, then the command is rerouted to a portion of the secure memory within the SE module, where it can be read only via a secure processing device within the SE module. The secure processing device may require additional verification of the port ID before executing the command stored within the secure memory. In this way, unsecure devices from outside of the SE module can be configured to have no direct access to any of the components within the SE module.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 3, 2022Publication date: August 3, 2023Applicant: BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.Inventors: David D. Patent number: 11652955Abstract: Techniques for reducing a likelihood of detection of an imaging system by another imaging system are provided. For example, the techniques may include controlling read-out such that the timings between frames of an image are non-uniform. For example, a processor may be configured to generate a plurality of frame synchronization signals from a main clock and transmit the plurality of frame synchronization signals to readout circuitry. Each frame synchronization signal is an instruction to start the biasing and reading for a respective frame. The plurality of frame synchronization signals may be generated such that a timing between pulse biasing the same thermal sensor is not uniform. The techniques may also include controlling the read-out such that the timings between lines within a frame are non-uniform which also results in the timing between pulse biasing of the same thermal sensor not being uniform.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2021Date of Patent: May 16, 2023Assignee: BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey L. Patent number: 11652299Abstract: A tightly coupled dipole array is an egg-crate configuration defined by a plurality of electrically connected antenna unit cells. At least one of the unit cells utilizes a short or conductive element that shorts the common mode resonance. Shorting the common mode resonance in an intentional manner removes instances of the common mode resonance. To achieve the shorting of the common mode resonance, a conductive element is connected with one of the dipole arms and connected to the outer conductor of the feed or a ground plane. This creates a grounding loop that pushes the resonance out of the band of interest.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2021Date of Patent: May 16, 2023Assignee: BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration Inc.Inventors: Matilda Livadaru, Mark Fosberry, James F.
