Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling two or more PSUs of a server system. An exemplary method comprises first determining whether the PSUs are switched on to an AC power source. If the PSUs are found not switched on to an AC power source, the method further comprises restarting the AC power source for the PSUs and completing a software-based recovery process. If the PSUs are found to be switched on to an AC power source, the method further comprises determining whether the PSUs meet a predefined criterion. If the PSUs do meet a predefined criterion, the method further comprises disabling a cold-redundancy mode for the PSUs. If the PSUs do not meet a predefined criterion, the method further comprises starting a wake-up process for a first PSU from a cold-redundancy mode.
Abstract: Systems and methods and disclosed for alerting improper inhibition of alerts of aircraft warning systems. In some examples, a method may include: determining whether an inhibition of a safety alert of a warning system of an aircraft is activated; upon determining that the inhibition is activated, determining whether the inhibition is improper under current or upcoming operating conditions of the aircraft, the current or upcoming operating conditions including a current or projected position of the aircraft and a weather condition at the current or projected position; and upon determining that the inhibition is improper under the current or upcoming operating conditions, alerting an operator of the aircraft to deactivate the inhibition.
Abstract: A transcatheter prosthesis with radially compressed and expanded configurations. An elongate member encircling at least a portion of the prosthesis, and configured to provide a seal between the prosthesis and a native anatomy when the prosthesis is deployed in the radially expanded configuration. The elongate member may be a resilient elongate member having a radially contracted state, when in tension, to hold at least the portion of the prosthesis in the radially compressed configuration, and having a radially expanded state, when relaxed, to provide the seal between at least the portion of the prosthesis and a native anatomy when the prosthesis is deployed. A system for delivering the transcatheter prosthesis may include a delivery catheter having an elongate cinching member encircling at least a second portion of the prosthesis, wherein the elongate cinching member is configured to hold the second portion of the prosthesis in the radially compressed configuration.
Abstract: An illumination fan includes a housing, a fan blade, a light guiding component and a light source. The housing defines a fan space and an accommodation space. The fan blade is disposed in the fan space. The light guiding component surrounds the fan blade, and at least part of the light guiding component is disposed in the accommodation space. The light source is disposed in the accommodation space and located below the light guiding component.
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for capturing images of one or more moving vehicles (i.e., a target vehicle) from another moving vehicle (i.e., subject vehicle). The disclosed system dynamically adjusts illumination power, exposure times, and/or other settings to optimize image capture that takes into account distance and speed. By optimizing for distances and moving vehicles, the disclosed system improves the probability of capturing a legible, usable photographic image. In one example, the disclosed system may be incorporated into an asymmetric license plate reading (ALPR) system.
Abstract: The present application discloses a method for allocating resources for direct communication between terminals in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method for allocating resources comprises: a step of configuring a first periodic resource so as to transmit multiple messages via direct communication between the terminals; and a step of transmitting the multiple messages by using the first periodic resource if a coding rate corresponding to the first periodic resource is below a maximum coding rate configured by an upper layer, wherein, if the coding rate is equal to or above the maximum coding rate, the first periodic resource is released and a second periodic resource is configured.

Abstract: A developer container includes a container main body that stores a developer, has an outlet for discharging the developer to a downstream side in a conveyance direction in which the developer is conveyed, has a sidewall having a circular cross-section perpendicular to the conveyance direction, and has a first ridge that continuously or intermittently continues to the downstream side in a helical form in a certain winding direction and is formed on an inner surface of the sidewall, and a limiter disposed at a downstream end that is an end on the downstream side of the container main body, to secure a space between the limiter and the sidewall, the space extending to an upstream side of the outlet in the conveyance direction and extending from the upstream side to the outlet.
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for determining a duration of time required to render a web page or other content displayed by a native application running on a user device. One embodiment captures screenshots of the application's displayed output on a user device as video frames, and determines when the displayed output image content stabilizes. Another embodiment measures the number of service calls from a mobile client machine and the data requested and/or sent in response to such calls to determine native application performance. In another embodiment, a configuration file updates application executables and runs batch content rendering performance tests. Embodiments timestamp and store test results for subsequent visual depiction, evaluation, and analysis by developer teams and/or users. Performance variations due to changes to a native application or content may be routed to a particular application developer or content designer for possible correction and improvement.
Abstract: A retail merchandise tray is provided. The retail merchandise tray includes a pair of load bearing members, a front stop mounted to the load bearing members, a wire support structure removably attached to the front stop and load bearing members, a pusher that slides along the wire support structure, and a pair of movable divider assemblies.
Abstract: A set-top box can provide a program for display to a video device that can be provided to the set-top box using a first signal in a first format, which can be a satellite or cable feed. The set-top box can receive a highlight notification from a content server for a highlight available to be provided for viewing during the program and, in response, can provide an alert associated with the highlight to the video device for display. The set-top box can receive an indication that the alert has been selected and, in response, can access the highlight and provide the highlight to the video device for display. The highlight can be streamed to the set-top box using a second signal in a second format, which can be a video streamed as web content in an Internet video format, and can be removed from display upon completion of the highlight.
