Abstract: This disclosure includes wound dressings and systems with high-flow therapeutic gas sources for topical wound therapy and related methods. Some dressings, which are configured to be coupled to tissue to facilitate delivery of therapeutic gas to the tissue, comprise a manifold that defines a plurality of gas passageways, the manifold configured to allow communication of therapeutic gas to the tissue; and a gas-occlusive layer configured to be disposed over the manifold and coupled to the tissue such that an interior volume containing the manifold is defined between the gas-occlusive layer and the tissue and the gas- occlusive layer limits escape of therapeutic gas from the interior volume; wherein the gas- occlusive layer includes: a first opening configured to allow communication of therapeutic gas into the interior volume; and one or more second openings configured to allow communication of therapeutic gas out of the interior volume.

Abstract: A method and system for operating an appliance scanner system. A device can maintain at least two isolated communication channels, one to connect to a configuration service and others for connecting to document processing and management services. This can enable the configuration service to reside outside of a secure network. Firewalls and policies can prevent content generated at the scanner from exiting the secure network and reaching the configuration service. To set up the scanner, it can be initiated and connect to the configuration service via a operations communication channel. The configuration service can then instruct the scanner how to connect to various document services through one or more generated content communication channels. Furthermore, document services can communicate validation information back to the scanner.

The method further includes instructing a printing device to print a single layer for the three-dimensional structural component using the set of predetermined thicknesses. Abstract: A system is disclosed. The system includes a substrate, and a first chip on the substrate, where a load circuit is integrated on the first chip. The system also includes a second chip on the substrate, where a power delivery circuit is configured to deliver current to the load circuit according to a regulated voltage at a node. The power delivery circuit includes a first circuit configured to generate an error signal based at least in part on the regulated voltage, and a voltage generator including power switches configured to modify the regulated voltage according to the error signal, where the first circuit of the power delivery circuit is integrated on the first chip, and where at least a portion of the power switches of the power delivery circuit are integrated on the second chip.
Abstract: A novel and useful modified semiconductor fabrication technique for realizing reliable semiconductor quantum structures. Quantum structures require a minimization of the parasitic capacitance of the control gate and the quantum well. The modified semiconductor process eliminates the fabrication of the metal, contact, and optionally the raised diffusion layers from the quantum wells, thereby resulting in much lower well and gate capacitances and therefore larger Coulomb blockade voltages. This allows easier implementation of the electronic control circuits in that they can have larger intrinsic noise and relaxed analog resolution. Several processes are disclosed including implementations of semiconductor quantum structures with tunneling through an oxide layer as well as tunneling through a local well depleted region. These techniques can be used in both planar semiconductor processes and 3D, e.g., FinFET, semiconductor processes. A dedicated process masking step is used for realizing the raised diffusions.

Abstract: Electrochemical cells and methods of making electrochemical cells are described herein. In some embodiments, an apparatus includes a multi-layer sheet for encasing an electrode material for an electrochemical cell. The multi-layer sheet including an outer layer, an intermediate layer that includes a conductive substrate, and an inner layer disposed on a portion of the conductive substrate. The intermediate layer is disposed between the outer layer and the inner layer. The inner layer defines an opening through which a conductive region of the intermediate layer is exposed such that the electrode material can be electrically connected to the conductive region. Thus, the intermediate layer can serve as a current collector for the electrochemical cell.
