Abstract: A subassembly is provided for a pipe lathe. The pipe lathe includes a segmented base ring and a drive gear assembly. The segmented base ring is structured to be removably coupled to a work piece having a perimeter. The subassembly includes a gear ring, a separate ring member, at least one tool mounting portion disposed on the separate ring member. The separate ring member is fastenable to the gear ring, in order that the separate ring member rotates with the gear ring but not independently with respect thereto. A number of tool assemblies mount to the tool mounting portion to machine the work piece. The gear ring includes a plurality of teeth, which cooperate with the drive gear assembly of the pipe lathe to rotate the subassembly about the perimeter of the work piece.

Abstract: A portable vaporizer is provided. The portable vaporizer includes a power module, a vaporization chamber, and a mouthpiece. The vaporization chamber includes a vaporization tank, which includes a tube, a tank base, a heating element contained within the tube, a vaporization basket for holding vaporization materials, and a cylindrical space between the herb basket and the tube. When the heating element is activated, the air in the cylindrical space between the vaporization basket and the tube is heated and causes the materials in the basket to vaporize.

Abstract: A remote agent call center is functional by providing a softphone and agent bridge that allows maintaining an open telephone line to the agent's phone with or without an incoming call being connected. Incoming calls are merged into the agent bridge to allow the agent to conference with the incoming call. The softphone provides call control to allow the agent to transfer, terminate, hold, record, or the like the active call.

Abstract: A method for operation of a battery consumption analysis server communicatively coupled to a plurality of mobile devices over radio channels to receive packages of data recorded at each mobile device containing application use, and battery charging and discharging events. By receiving independent sets of information from the mobile device wherein independent sets comprise at least one of wireless phone activities and battery use, combining this information in such a way that the battery consumption or over consumption of specific applications are identified, the apparatus and method configures a display to identify the correspondingly bad applications to a user.

Abstract: MN-029 di-hydrochloride (MN-029.2HCl, Formula 2) is a potent vascular targeting agent. The present invention focuses on the synthesis and characterization of the di-hydrochloride salt MN-029 and the preparation of pharmaceutically acceptable formulations thereof. Methods are disclosed of using the compound and formulations thereof in the treatment of diseases that rely on the generation of neovasculature by angiogenesis for disease progression.

The wafer for QC check is transferred while inhibiting a transfer of the production wafer into the assigned process chamber, and the production wafer is transferred into each of the process chambers of the plurality except the assigned process chamber.

Abstract: A control mechanism for a drawer slide assembly including a cabinet rail and a drawer rail is provided. The control mechanism comprises a latch bracket positioned on a portion of a drawer and having a post extending therefrom, a movable latch associated with the cabinet rail and capable of limited linear movement along a portion of the cabinet rail, the movable latch cooperating and engaging with the post of the latch bracket so as to move along with movement of the drawer when engaged with the post, and a damping mechanism for damping movement of the movable latch at least when the drawer is moving from an open position to a closed position.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for detecting media access control (MAC) address conflicts are described herein. An indication to create a virtual machine on the host device is received at a host device of a plurality of host devices. A MAC address to assign to the virtual machine is identified, and a message is transmitted to at least one of the plurality of host devices, with the message including the identified MAC address. The MAC address is assigned to the virtual machine in the absence of a response from the at least one of the plurality of host devices indicating a potential conflict with the MAC address.

The heat absorbing material is disposed corresponding to a heat source of the electronic device. The metal particles are distributed in the heat absorbing material. The invention solves the problem of uneven heat dissipation of an electronic product, which makes a user feel more comfortable.

Abstract: A tool is provided to allow a user to customize the components of a vehicle instrument panel from an Internet-enabled Web site. A user can navigate to a Web site and select a vehicle for configuration. From the Web site, input may be obtained regarding the components and appearance of an instrument panel such as selecting particular types of components (e.g., display panels, gauges, etc.) and arranging where the selected components are to be located. The input generated by a user is translated into a build specification for assembling the instrument panel at the manufacturer. Accordingly, the system and method serve as an interface between the Web site that obtains user configuration data and a manufacturer's system that manages assembly of the vehicle.

Abstract: An electric power assist device and a driving method for an electric vehicle are provided. The electric power assist device adapted for the electric vehicle includes an angle sensing unit, a driving module, and a control module. The angle sensing unit senses a tilting angle of the electric vehicle on the road. The driving module includes a power driving unit and a motor. The driving module receives a control signal for driving the electric vehicle by the motor. The control module is coupled to the angle sensing unit and the driving module. The control module adjusts the control signal according to a change of the tilting angle to increase a torque force of the motor when the electric vehicle is on an uphill road.

Abstract: A can rounding system and method that uses arms that are able to maintain cans in a concentric arrangement during the welding process. The arms enable the can rounding system to maintain the concentric positions in order to achieve improved circular dimensions and increase the overall efficiency in the construction of cylindrical and conical structures, such as wind towers.

Abstract: The class-E amplifier can be tuned to pass only the fundamental frequency to the antenna by optimizing the second harmonics at the drain of the final PA driver transistor. A CPW in series with a capacitor between the PA transistor and the load forms a band pass filter that only allows the fundamental frequency to pass to the load of the antenna. A supply inductor to couple the drain of the final PA driver transistor to the power supply is tuned at the second harmonic with the parasitic capacitance of the drain of the PA transistor. A load capacitance is adjusted at the fundamental frequency to insure that the current waveform and voltage waveforms at the drain of the PA driver transistor do not overlap, thereby minimizing the parasitic power dissipation and allowing maximum energy to be applied to the antenna.

Abstract: A method, system, and logic for upgrading mesh points of a wireless mesh network. One method includes maintaining a mesh topology data structure containing information on the tree topology of a wireless mesh network. The method further includes using a tree-walking method to send an upgrade message to the root access point and to each other mesh point in the wireless mesh network until each mesh point has received the upgrade message. Receiving the upgrade message enables the receiving mesh point to upgrade according to the contents of the upgrade message without necessarily disrupting the mesh network.

A mixing chamber located within the body can be configured to receive an exhaust and configured to receive fuel from the orifice.
