Publication number: 20130051757Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods and computer-readable media for transmedia video bookmarks, the method comprising receiving a first place marker and a second place marker for a segment of video media, extracting metadata from the video media between the first and second place markers, normalizing the extracted metadata, storing the normalized metadata, first place marker, and second place marker as a video bookmark, and retrieving the media represented by the video bookmark upon request from a user. Systems can aggregate video bookmarks from multiple sources and refine the first place marker and the second place marker based on the aggregated video bookmarks. Metadata can be extracted by analyzing text or audio annotations. Metadata can be normalized by generating a video thumbnail representing the video media between the first place marker and the second place marker. Multiple video bookmarks may be searchable by metadata or by the video thumbnail visually.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 28, 2011Publication date: February 28, 2013Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Behzad Shahraray, Andrea Basso, Lee Begeja, David C. Publication number: 20130054613Abstract: Techniques for automatic sort and propagation of information relating to electronic documents are presented. With regard to an electronic document, such as an incoming message, an enhanced information management component (EIMC) can analyze the document to identify a file folder associated with a subject to which the document relates. Based on interaction with or tagging of the document in a first user interface (UI) and predefined user preferences, the EIMC can propagate information relating to the subject and/or document to a second UI. The EIMC can archive the document in the identified file folder automatically or in response to as little as one UI control manipulation. The EIMC can analyze audio or video content to facilitate tagging and archiving of such content using the first UI and propagation of information relating to such content and/or related subject to a second UI.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2011Publication date: February 28, 2013Applicant: AT&T INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY I, L.P.Inventor: Michael Bishop

Publication number: 20130051251Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a mobile device can determine its speed and can utilize a wireless network based on its determined speed. In one example, the mobile device can be within a communications range of a wireless access point that implements a wireless local area network and can utilize a mobile telephone network for data communications rather than the wireless local area network when the mobile device is traveling at or above a certain speed. In another example, the mobile device can receive a signal from the wireless access point and, based on the signal and the speed of the mobile device, the mobile device can utilize the wireless access point at or above the certain speed. For instance, the signal can include a beacon indicating that the wireless access point can be utilized for data communications when the mobile device is traveling at or above a certain speed.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2011Publication date: February 28, 2013Applicant: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Feng Wang, Mostafa Tofighbakhsh, David R. Publication number: 20130053546Abstract: The invention relates to the production of recombinant human fibrinogen (rhFib) in the milk of transgenic mammalian animals. This production and subsequent purification process is generally hampered by the occurrence of so-called ‘clots’ and ‘flakes’ in the milk which, in severe cases, may prevent the cow from being milked at all, resulting in a halt of lactation. These clots and flakes occur because of the expression of the fibrinogen protein, which is a factor that is normally involved in blood clotting. The invention relates to solving this milk clotting problem by treating the (lactating) animals with anticoagulants such as coumarins. A preferred anticoagulant that is used in the methods of the present invention is warfarin.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 11, 2011Publication date: February 28, 2013Applicant: PHARMING INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY BVInventors: Kathryn Margaret Nelson, Michael William Mosesson, Anthony Pusateri, Erik Jordahl Forsberg

Publication number: 20130054085Abstract: A motor vehicle electrical power system provides monitoring of the connection between a vehicle battery and a direct current power source for charging the battery. A voltage transient detector determines if voltage levels on the connection between the vehicle battery and the direct current power supply exceed a minimum threshold. Additionally, a timer or low pass filter passes only voltage transients of a minimum duration. Responsive to detection of a voltage transient exceeding the minimum threshold and duration a load dump event is signaled indicating a possible transient interruption of the connection between the vehicle battery and the direct current power source has occurred.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 18, 2010Publication date: February 28, 2013Applicant: International Truck Intellectual Property Company, LLCInventor: Colin Jay Casey
