Abstract: An amusement game wherein a pointer element attached to a vertically oriented rail is raised to the top of the rail and released by a latch and allowed to fall. A player is provided with a controller that sends a signal to stop the pointer element as it falls from the top of the rail and the player tries to stop the travel of the pointer so it aligns with a selected target region. If the player successfully stops the pointer within a designated target area, a corresponding score is awarded. In embodiments, the location of pointer is detected by an optical sensor and encoder bar, and the system to stop the fall of the pointer includes an electromagnet attached to the pointer. In embodiments, after play, the pointer assembly is returned to the top of the rail by a drive belt that is powered by an electric motor.
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions, immunogenic or vaccine compositions and pharmaceutical compositions for the prevention or treatment of canine atopic dermatitis (CAD). Furthermore, the invention provides methods for preventing or treating CAD. The compositions of the invention induce efficient immune responses, in particular antibody responses, in dogs and are, therefore, useful for the treatment and/or prevention of CAD.
Abstract: A device having a stripline to substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) transition structure has a substrate having a top surface and a bottom surface. A first metal ground layer is formed on the top surface of the substrate. A second metal ground layer is formed on the bottom surface of the substrate. A set of metallic vias are used to connect both ground layers. The stripline to SIW transition structure is embedded within the substrate between the first metal ground layer and the second metal ground layer. The stripline to SIW transition structure has a first transmission line embedded within the substrate. An impedance transformer is coupled to one end of the first transmission line. A coupling structure is coupled to the impedance transformer. The coupling structure has a pair of transmission lines. The pair of transmission lines diverge outward and upward from the impedance transformer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a composition that begins as a multi-phase structure including a plurality of immiscible liquids that, upon agitation, encapsulates and suspends one of the plurality of liquids (e.g., in spheres). In some embodiments, the composition includes a water phase and an anhydrous phase. The composition can include a thickener added to the water phase to allow the water molecules to encapsulate the anhydrous phase into spheres. The formed spheres are stable and can be configured to last for specific durations depending on modifications to the formula. In some embodiments, the spheres can release back into the multi-phase structure after a specific period of time. The formulations disclosed herein can act as a vehicle or a base formulation to which additional ingredients can be added. The disclosed formulation, in addition to enabling the intermixing of two immiscible liquids, can provide a number of additional benefits.
