  • Patent number: 11975136
Abstract: A system for aseptic collection of mammalian amniotic fluid. The system includes a cannula having an attachment end and external end. The attachment end provides a concentric opening to a hollow chamber disposed about a central passage. The hollow chamber has a port disposed adjacent to the external end permitting at least a partial suction to be established within the hollow chamber, the attachment end thereby suctionally attached to a surface when the attachment end is disposed upon the surface. The central passage provides access to a central portion of the surface surrounded by the concentric opening of the hollow chamber. An extraction needle is disposed within the central passage of the cannula and presented to the central portion of the surface. • Publication number: 20240139289
Abstract: The invention provides a long-acting parathyroid hormone peptide (PTH) that is retained in a subject's blood serum for periods of time that greatly exceed the natural hormone. The long-acting PTH is conjugated to at the carbon 3 position of a non-hormonal vitamin D via a scaffold of discreet length that facilitates its purification, detection, solubility, and efficacy at the PTH receptor (PTHR). The PTH may be conjugated to the non-hormonal vitamin D via a 36 mer poly(ethylene glycol) moiety (PTH-PEG36-VitD). The invention also provides optimized manufacturing methods and formulations. The PTH-PEG36-VitD has a vastly-improved serum half-life and bioavailability when compared to a non-conjugated PTH peptide. PTH-PEG36-VitD also significantly increases serum calcium, reduces urinary calcium, and reduces serum phosphate.

  • Patent number: 11965813
Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus are provided for cytometer fluidics. In one example, a pressure regulation system is provided for a cytometer fluidics system. The pressure regulation system includes a pressure regulator and a transducer. The pressure regulator pressurizes sheath fluid in a fluid path. The transducer senses a measured pressure in the fluid path independently of the sheath tank. The transducer converts the measured pressure into a voltage. The transducer communicates the voltage to the pressure regulator. The pressure regulator translates the voltage to a regulated pressure that substantially matches the measured pressure. The pressure regulator is the only pressure regulation source in the cytometry fluidics system.
