    Abstract: A downhole device is configured as a selectable hole trimmer. The selectable hole trimmer comprises an upper sleeve affixed inside a body via a stop. A charge sleeve is slidable inside the upper sleeve to provide a pressure to a pressurized volume. A catch sleeve is slidable inside the charge sleeve to align a bypass port and a return port with a drilling mud volume. An actuator is fluidly connected to the pressurized volume via a port. The actuator is configured to provide a pressure to a selectable hole cutter of the body via an actuation port in the transfer sleeve and actuate the selectable hole cutter piston of the selectable hole cutter to move relative to the body, wherein the cutter piston comprises one or more cutters. A manual controller configured to operate the actuator in response to a dropped activation ball.

An orifice retainer is mounted inside the tubular component adjacent the first axial end. The orifice retainer has a retainer first axial end, a retainer second axial end opposite the retainer first axial end and an orifice pocket adjacent the retainer second axial end. The orifice retainer is installed in and can be removed from the first axial end of the tubular component, opposite the poppet valve assembly. In addition, an orifice is mounted in the orifice pocket of the orifice retainer. The orifice operates in conjunction with the poppet valve assembly.

    Abstract: A system for trimming fins on a downhole tool is disclosed. The system includes a jig that mounts to the shaft of the tool. A linear aperture is formed in the jig and has a closed end, an open end, and is sized to axially receive a single fin of the tool. A channel is located on an underside of the jig beneath the aperture. The channel has an inner radius of curvature. The inner radius of curvature is substantially similar to an outer radius of curvature of the shaft. The channel can form a friction lock on the exterior of the shaft and be removably attached to the shaft without fasteners. The channel is arcuate and has a selected arcuate span.
