Abstract: The present technology pertains to providing a live playback stream by a multi-media platform. During a live playback stream, the client device controls public playback of media items and is a source of live media during the live playback stream. The live playback stream can be made up of at least two streams between the client device and the multi-media platform. One stream is a playback control channel for transmitting data regarding playback controls pertaining to playback of recorded media content and another stream is a live media stream for transmitting data encoding live media. The multi-media platforms can transmit at least a portion of the data from the playback control channel and the live media stream to an audience member client device.

Abstract: Technologies are described herein for media content navigation in user interfaces. For example, a method of media content navigation may include receiving a request to initialize a media application, generating a first playlist comprising a first plurality of media content items and a second playlist comprising a second plurality of media content items, providing a media content item of the first plurality of media content items for playback and a user interface comprising a representation of the media content item to the user device, receiving an indication of a gesture input from the user device to transition from the media content item, and causing the user device to display another representation of another media content item of the second plurality of media content items in the user interface and to playback the another media content item in response to the indication of the gesture input.

Abstract: Blockchain supported resource transfer communication protocol techniques are described. In an implementation, a semantic message is received encoding parameters to be implemented as part of a resource transfer involving a digital wallet. A quote is generated specifying attributes as part of implementing communication connections to perform the resource transfer in compliance with the parameters specified by the semantic message. An acceptance message is received indicating acceptance of the quote, the acceptance message including credentials of the digital wallet. Generation is initiated of an application executable as part of a blockchain as complying with the parameters and the attributes. Data describing the application as executable as part of the blockchain is transmitted for distribution to the digital wallet. The resource transfer is initiated through execution of the application as part of the blockchain.

Abstract: The present application describes a power management system for controlling delivery of power to a plurality of processing elements. The power management system includes a plurality of power management circuits arranged between terminals of a power supply. Each power management circuit is configured to connect to a processing element of the plurality of processing elements, and either supply sufficient power to power processing at the processing element, or prevent supply of sufficient power to power processing at the processing element. The power management system includes one or more power controllers arranged to determine whether or not to supply sufficient power to a processing element of the plurality of processing elements to perform processing.

Abstract: Wireless communication and proximity-based feedback technologies are disclosed. In some examples, a system identifies, based on analysis of signal(s) (e.g., conveying transaction object information) received by a reader interface from a transaction object in response to physical proximity between the transaction object and the reader interface, an indication of a movement of the transaction object relative to the reader interface. The system generates, based on the indication, feedback indicating a recommended change to the movement to improve an ability of the reader interface to read the transaction object. The system sends the feedback to an output device that to output the feedback to indicate the recommended change. The system reads the transaction object information from the transaction object using the reader interface in response to an improvement in the ability of the reader interface to read the transaction object and in response to the output of the feedback.

Abstract: Decentralized trust establishment using sentiment documents is described. In an implementation, a decentralized network of nodes is generated. A first entity is associated with a select node of the nodes. A user interface is presented including one or more options at an edge device of the first entity. The options support inputs specifying identification of a second entity, sentiment regarding the second entity, and supporting information describing why the sentiment is expressed towards the second entity. A plurality of sentiment documents are collected, respectively, from the plurality of nodes of the decentralized network. A sentiment is determined as associated with an entity by processing the plurality of sentiment documents. The determined sentiment is output.

Abstract: Technologies are described herein for media content navigation in user interfaces. For example, a method of media content navigation may include receiving a request to initialize a media application, generating a first playlist comprising a first plurality of media content items and a second playlist comprising a second plurality of media content items, providing a media content item of the first plurality of media content items for playback and a user interface comprising a representation of the media content item to the user device, receiving an indication of a gesture input from the user device to transition from the media content item, and causing the user device to display another representation of another media content item of the second plurality of media content items in the user interface and to playback the another media content item in response to the indication of the gesture input.

Abstract: A social network for merchants is described. A payment processing service can receive first merchant information associated with characteristic(s) of a first merchant and second merchant information associated with characteristic(s) of a second merchant. The payment processing service can determine a similarity between the first merchant and the second merchant based on analyzing the first merchant information and the second merchant information with a data model. Based at least in part on the similarity, the payment processing service can associate the first merchant and the second merchant with a merchant group and enable the first merchant and the second merchant to access a service associated with a merchant social network based at least in part on the association with the merchant group.

Abstract: A digital content contribution verification system in a decentralized network is described. In an implementation, digital content is obtained and a plurality of portions are located from the digital content. A decentralized identifier and verifiable credential are identified as associated with a respective portion of the plurality of portions. The decentralized identifier is resolvable to a respective node from a decentralized network of nodes individually configured to store, receive, and transmit data. Representations are displayed of the decentralized identifiers indicative of a respective entity and corresponding verifiable credentials validating a relationship of the respective entity with the respective portion.

Abstract: Key device and supplemental interface use is described as part of enabling digital transaction involving a transfer of one or more cryptographic tokens. In one or more examples, transaction details are received from an edge device that are proposed for a transfer of one or more cryptographic tokens as part of a digital transaction. A communication is formed for display by a supplemental interface associated with an address that is to participate in the transfer. A confirmation is received from the supplemental interface that the transfer of the one or more cryptographic tokens is permitted and a signed authorization is generated confirming the transaction details using at least one cryptographic key. The signed authorization is transmitted for receipt by a key device that is configured to determine that the signed authorization originated from the wallet server and is configured to participate in the transfer as part of the digital transaction.

Abstract: Method, systems, and apparatus for generating an online storefront for a merchant, comprising receiving, by an inventory management system (IMS) and from a point of sale (POS) device, an indication of a user input to a first graphical user interface (GUI) representing a merchant request to generate the online storefront comprising one or more second GUIs; generating and activating the online storefront; retrieving inventory data associated with the merchant; transmitting, to a customer device, a second GUI that includes item information; receiving a customer request to purchase an item; transmitting, to a payment service system (PSS) that manages the IMS, the customer request; receiving an indication that the payment has been processed by the PSS; receiving a command from the PSS to update the inventory data; receiving a request from the POS device to deactivate the online storefront; and removing the customer device's access to the online storefront.

Abstract: Techniques described herein are directed to implementing three-domain secure (3DS) solutions in a software development kit (SDK), and more generally, improving the process of authenticating user transactions in third-party merchant applications. In an example, a user may enroll in the delegated authentication service offered by the authentication service provider as a result of conducting a payment transaction in a first application having the SDK. During a subsequent transaction, initiated in an unassociated second application having the compiled SDK, the user may authenticate the payment method without registering the payment method with the second application and/or by delegating a 3DS authentication to the authentication service provider rather than performing the 3DS authentication with an issuer of the payment method. Additionally, techniques described herein may configure a user device, without access to an internet connection, as a standalone payment instrument.

Abstract: A modular plastic building block for constructing a continuous wall of a structure is provided. The modular block has body that is rectangular or L-shaped depending on the position of the block within the desired structure. Each end of the modular block has a connecting member, either a male or female connecting member configured to connect to a respective female or male connecting member of an adjacent modular block. The modular block includes a pair of locking channels having at least one locking groove enabling a user to lock adjacent modular blocks vertically using a locking member. The modular plastic building block is designed for inexpensive building construction, while still providing efficient insulation and a sturdy base due to the density of plastic as the structure is mostly solid. A conduit may be provided to allow for electrical and plumbing connections within the blocks. In some instances, recycled plastic is used.

Abstract: An electronic device may include a printed circuit board having a physically unclonable function (PUF) source. The electronic device may also include processing circuitry positioned on the printed circuit board. The PUF source includes a plurality of traces and each trace includes a first portion and a second portion having an increased surface area relative to the first portion. The PUF source is responsive to an input from the processing circuitry to provide PUF data based on the impedance characteristics of the plurality of traces. The processing circuitry is further configured to process the PUF data from the PUF source to perform an operation within the device.

Abstract: Technology is described for managing a user account. An example method includes: a payment service system (PSS) monitoring in real-time transactions of users, receiving a request from a user to complete a transaction, and dynamically determining a predicted tax liability amount for the transaction that increases or decreases a total tax liability of the user. The PSS then displays the predicted tax liability amount on a display of the users device with a request for confirmation to continue with the transaction. If confirmation is received, the PSS modifies tax liability information for the user that reflects the completed transaction. The user may also cancel the transaction responsive to receiving the predicted tax liability amount.

Abstract: A payment service configured to allocate proceeds of payment authorization requests between user accounts. In examples, the payment service receives, from a user device, a user's preference regarding how to allocate proceeds received in association with payment authorization requests. The payment service receives, from a payment application executing on the user device, a payment authorization request associated with one or more transactions between the user and another user. Based on the user's preference, the payment service determines a first portion of proceeds to be allocated for deposit into a first account of a user and a second portion to be allocated for deposit into a second account of the user. The payment service then causes the portions to be deposited accordingly.

Abstract: A system for sensing a location of a near field communication (NFC) device includes an NFC reader that communicates with a remote NFC device through load modulation. The NFC reader transmits a wireless carrier signal from an antenna, and the remote NFC device modulates the carrier signal by changing its internal impedance in order to transmit data to the NFC reader. The NFC reader has at least one antenna for receiving the modulated signal. The antenna is coupled to circuitry that analyzes the signal received from the remote NFC device to determine a location of the remote NFC device relative to the NFC reader. The circuitry then selects a transmit antenna from a plurality of transmit antennas in the NFC reader, based on the determined location, to communicate with the remote NFC device.

Abstract: Liquidity and security mechanism are described as part of a unified cryptographic wallet. In an implementation, a request is received by a server to initiate a transaction involving a fund transfer using a blockchain network or a decentralized network. A determination is made, automatically and without user intervention, whether to perform the transaction, e.g., based on a threshold. The request responsive to determining to perform the transaction. The signed request is communicated to initiate the fund transfer of the transaction using the blockchain network or the decentralized network.

Abstract: In some examples, a computing device of a service provider receives, via a user interface of a merchant and in association with a transaction between a customer and the merchant, a request to finance the transaction. The service provider determines, based at least on information about the transaction and/or historical transaction data of the customer, that the customer is eligible for receiving financing for the transaction. The service provider customizes an offer for the user for an amount to be financed, a payment plan for repayment of the amount over two or more installments, and a fee to be paid to the service provider. In response to receiving an indication that the customer accepts the offer via an interaction with a user interface of the customer, transferring funds from the financing service provider to the merchant prior to the customer having paid the two or more installments.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes obtaining, by a payment service system, an amount of security assets via a securities exchange system. The method includes determining amounts of security assets owned by the payment service system and users of the payment service system. The method includes receiving, via an application of the payment service system executing on a device of a user of the payment service system, a request from the user to sell an amount of a security asset owned by the user. The method includes facilitating execution of a sale of the amount of security assets. The method includes, prior to the sale request settling, depositing, by the payment service system, a currency account of the user with an amount of funds associated with a determined value of the security asset requested to be sold by the user.
