Abstract: A bathtub shower splash shield member which includes a shower curtain holding structure adapted for use with a bathtub for preventing water from a shower head from splashing between a wall and the adjacent side of a suspended shower curtain, member comprised of a generally triangular shaped unitary body containing two general orthogonally arranged mounting legs that intersect at a vertex and a web extending between and joining mounting legs. The two mounting legs include a vertically extending leg adapted to be mounted on a wall structure and a horizontally extending leg adapted to be mounted on the flat horizontal surface of a side wall of the bathtub. The shower curtain holding structure includes an opening extending through vertically extending leg and a finger clamp disposed in this opening. The finger clamp includes a clamping portion extending in a direction away from first leg. The clamping portion cooperates with the web to grip a portion of the curtain between the clamping portion and the web.

Abstract: A fluid conducting connector for use in water connections particularly water heater connectors. The connector assembly is designed for mating connection to a galvanized nipple for reduction of galvanic corrosion between dissimilar metal connections. An insulator sleeve is seated within the connector to maintain separation between the galvanized nipple and the copper tube of the assembly. The connector assembly includes an internally threaded female connector mounted to the copper tube for connection to the nipple. The insulator sleeve includes a tubular body and a radial flange. The body of the sleeve extends partially into the copper tube while the flange seats within the female connector acting as a washer for the assembly.
Abstract: A three-piece angle stop valve comprises a valve body, resilient control sleeve and handle, with no separate fastening or sealing elements required. Inlet line pressure resiliently biases the side walls of the control sleeve and a circumferential sealing flap formed thereon into sealing engagement with the valve bore to prevent leakage. The handle is secured to the valve body by resilient formations which snap into a circumferential groove on the valve body. The handle rotates the control sleeve by means of telescoping splines. Several circumferential and axial reinforcing ribs are formed in the interior of the control sleeve. A collar having a tapered rim in the valve body piercingly engages a corresponding tapered section on the resilient control sleeve to additionally secure the control sleeve against axial downstream movement in the valve body.
Abstract: A flapper valve assembly including an adapter member and a flapper valve member. The adapter member includes a collar portion, a pair of trunions projecting radially outwardly from diametrically opposed locations on the collar portion, and a mounting portion extending rearwardly from the collar portion and defining an elongated slot. The flapper valve member includes a sealing disc for sealing coaction with the valve seat of the outlet passage of the tank, a float bowl extending integrally and centrally downwardly from the sealing disc for positioning within the outlet passage, and a pair of arms extending rearwardly from the sealing disc and including mounting apertures sized to button over the trunions on the adapter member to mount the valve member for pivotal movement on the adapter member between opened and closed positions relative to the valve seat of the outlet passage.
