Abstract: A refill for an electric toothbrush comprises a generally tubular structure formed by refill walls defining an interior space for accepting thereinto a coupling stem of a toothbrush handle. The refill includes a motion transmitter functionally connected to the brush head for driving it. The refill has a coupling device including a pair of mutually opposite and resiliently deformable cantilevered arms disposed in the interior space of the refill and adjacent to the refill walls and extending from respective roots in a circular or semi-circular manner around, and in a plane substantially perpendicular to, the refill's longitudinal axis. Each of the arms is resiliently deformable and terminates with a coupling surface for engaging a coupling pin extending from the handle's coupling stem for secure and disengageable connection therewith.

Abstract: An electric toothbrush, including a refill connectable to a handle via a coupling device. The handle has a drive mechanism, and the refill has a brush head and a motion transmitter functionally connected to the brush head for driving it. The handle has a coupling stem terminating with a free end and including a coupling pin extending from the stem. The refill includes a generally tubular portion formed by refill walls defining an interior space for accepting the coupling stem of the handle. The coupling device comprises a pair of mutually opposite and resiliently deformable cantilevered arms disposed adjacent to the refill walls in the interior space of the refill. Each of the cantilevered arms terminates with a coupling surface for engaging the stem's coupling pin for secure and disengageable connection between the handle and the refill.

Abstract: A personal care system having personal hygiene products and a display for assisting the user is described. The personal care system can include a personal care product (e.g., an electric toothbrush), an interactive display in data communication with the personal care product. The display provides information associated with a plurality of characteristics of a personal care regimen to the user. The display is in data communication with a network and operable to receive information from the network, and the display is operable to run one or more applications to display the information received from the network.

Abstract: An electric shaver with a drive shaft having a first rotary axis and a drive pin connected to the drive shaft eccentrically with respect to the rotary axis, and a driven shaft having a second rotary axis. The driven shaft is indirectly coupled to the drive shaft by a gear mechanism capable of converting a rotary motion of the drive shaft into a reciprocating motion of the driven shaft.

Abstract: A hair removal device comprising a working head attached to a handle for moving the working head along a skin surface is provided. The working head includes at least one hair removal tool defining a skin contact contour of the working head, wherein the at least one hair removal tool is movable relative to the handle under a skin contact pressure by a support structure to allow for pivoting of the working head's skin contact contour relative to the handle. The support structure movably supporting the hair removal tool relative to the handle is configured to allow for pivoting of the skin contact contour relative to the handle about an angle of about +/?15° or more under a contact force of about 0.75 N or less and/or about an angle of about +/?20° or more under a contact force of about 1.5 N or less.
