According to the invention, the visible surface inside the washing compartment of the washing compartment wall formed by the mounting floor has, at least in part, a different appearance than that of the plastic of the remaining mounting floor. The different appearance is obtained by an insert made of stainless steel on the mounting floor. A stainless steel surface that, to the user, appears highly effective can thus be obtained in the entire interior of the washing container even in the case of a platform for a dish washing machine having a tub made of stainless steel that is placed on a plastic mounting floor.
