Abstract: An ultrasonic filtration device may be incorporated into or otherwise installed in an extractor hood in a cooking environment. The ultrasonic filtration device aids in the elimination and/or reduction of contaminants in the air produced as a byproduct of cooking. Particulate contaminants are bombarded with high-energy pressure waves, thereby breaking up the particulates and reducing their size until they are no longer noticeable and/or hazardous to the user.

Abstract: An adjustable mounting system for mounting a control panel on a housing of a home cooking appliance, and a home cooking appliance having an adjustable mounting system, are provided. The adjustable mounting system includes a control panel having a mounting pin extending from a rear surface of the control panel and a mounting box fixed on the housing. The mounting box has a first opening that receives the mounting pin into an interior of the mounting box. The adjustable mounting system includes a locking device that engages the mounting pin and the mounting box and secures the mounting pin in the interior of the mounting box, which secures the control panel to the housing. A movement of the locking device with respect to the mounting box adjusts a position of the control panel with respect to the housing.

Abstract: A refrigeration appliance system can include a refrigeration compartment. The system can include a drawer positioned in the refrigeration compartment. The system can also include a gear bar assembly positioned under a bottom portion of the drawer, the gear bar assembly configured to reduce or eliminate a wobble of the drawer in response to the drawer being opened or closed. The gear bar assembly can include a gear with gear teeth extending from a base of the gear. The gear bar assembly can include a gear bar coupled to the gear. The gear bar assembly can include a toothed strip positioned adjacent to the gear and in contact with the gear teeth in response to the drawer being opened or closed.

Abstract: A sink includes a basin including a base wall and lateral walls adjoining the base wall, with the basin including a receiving area delimited by the base wall and the lateral walls. An insert plate separate from the basin is inserted into the receiving area and moveable by a lifting device relative to the basin. An interaction unit is provided to detect an influencing factor involving an operating state of the sink, and/or a change in the operating state of the sink, and/or an operating action by a user of the sink, with the lifting device automatically changing a position of the insert plate in response to a detection of the influencing factor by the interaction unit.

Abstract: A home appliance, in particular a home cooking appliance, includes a home appliance cavity used as a cooking cavity. The home appliance cavity includes a substrate that is a fibrous matrix and an inorganic resin that is thermally resistant. In certain examples, the home appliance cavity is a single unit construction, eliminating assembly seams. Also described herein are methods of making the home appliance cavity.

Abstract: Aspects and features of a burner for a cooking appliance include a first plate defining flame ports arranged in flow-sharing groups around a periphery of a combustion surface and a second plate coextensive with the first plate. Each plate is contoured so that the plates define an annular void within the burner. The annular void is fluidly coupled to the flame ports. In some aspects, each flow-sharing group includes clusters of flame ports, with each cluster including flame ports of two different diameters. The plates can each be made using the same tool such as a die, stamp, or mold, and the burner can be sized and installed in a cooking appliance so that it extends to cover a large portion of a wall of the cooking cavity of the appliance.

Abstract: A system can include a fluid tank for a refrigeration appliance. The fluid tank can include a plurality of chambers. Each chamber of the plurality of chambers can include an inlet port and an outlet port. At least part of the outlet port can be on a horizontal plane that is offset in an upward direction with respect to the inlet port. At least two chambers of the plurality of chambers can be fluidly coupled in series.

Abstract: A refrigerator including a fresh food compartment; a freezer compartment; an ice compartment disposed in the fresh food compartment; an ice maker disposed in the ice compartment, the ice maker including an ice maker tray, a separate fin evaporator, and a cooling tube which is assembled between the ice maker tray and the fin evaporator, such that the cooling tube is in direct contact with the ice maker tray and the fin evaporator; and an ice bucket for storing ice, the ice bucket being disposed in the ice compartment.

Abstract: A removable upper plinth or top panel structure for a domestic appliance, includes: an elongated plate-shaped cover for covering an access opening at a top portion of the domestic appliance; a plurality of attachment members disposed on the elongated plate-shaped cover for detachably mounting the elongated plate-shaped cover to the domestic appliance; and a plurality of tethers connected to the elongated plate-shaped cover, such that on condition that the elongated plate-shaped cover is detached from the domestic appliance to expose the access area, the elongated plate-shaped cover flips downward and hangs on the plurality of tethers.

Abstract: An improved convection fan cover is provided. In one or more implementations, the improved convection fan cover has a shutter system. As the convection heating system operates, the shutter system opens and closes (or blocks and unblocks) vents in the convection fan cover, creating an oscillation effect that alters the flow of air throughout an oven cavity, contributing to a more even cooking profile.

Abstract: An adjustable user interface module (UIM) for a domestic appliance is provided and includes an adjustable UIM housing; a UIM electronic component mounted to the adjustable UIM housing; and a pair of adjustable fastening members adapted to mount the adjustable UIM housing to the domestic appliance, each of the adjustable fastening members being configured to adjust the adjustable UIM housing in at least an up and down direction to in turn adjust the height of the UIM electronic component.

Abstract: A gas line support device configured to support a gas line in a domestic home appliance includes: a base, the base having a plurality of contact portions that are configured to rest on a surface in a chassis of the domestic home appliance; a central portion having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, the central portion being attached to the base at the first end of the central portion; a gas line cradle attached to the second end of the central portion, the gas line cradle being configured to support a gas line in the domestic home appliance; a passage in the base, the passage being formed between two of the contact portions of the base and being configured to receive an electrical wire such that the electrical wire passes through the passage and below the gas line cradle; and an attachment portion extending from one of the contact portions of the base, the attachment portion being configured to attach the gas line support device to the surface.
