Publication number: 20060214112Abstract: The invention is directed to a method and a kit for calibrating a photoluminescence measurement system, in particular a fluorescence measurement system. The kit includes a number of fluorescence standards i and their corrected and certified fluorescence spectra Ii(?), whereby the fluorescence standards i are selected, so that their spectrally corrected fluorescence spectra Ii(?) cover a broad spectral range with high intensity. The standards are characterized by large half-widths FWHMi of their bands of at least 1400 cm?1. According to the method of the invention, partial correction functions Fi(?) are generated by forming the quotient of the measured fluorescence spectra Ji(?) and the corresponding corrected fluorescence spectra Ii(?), which are then combined to form a total correction function F(?) for a broad spectral range.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 9, 2005Publication date: September 28, 2006Applicants: BAM Bundesanstalt Fuer Materialforschung und - pruefung, Fluka GmbHInventors: Ute Resch-Genger, Dietmar Pfeifer, Christian Monte, Angelika Hoffmann, Pierre Nording, Bernhard Schoenenberger, Katrin Hoffmann, Monika Spieles, Knut Rurack

Patent number: 6805011Abstract: A force transducer is inserted into a small boring inside a test object. Inside the boring, it can measure the elastic extensions caused by the surrounding stress matrix. The force transducer is provided in two parts. Both parts are provided with a conical inner boring or conical outer periphery in such a manner that they can be held inside the boring of the test object by a tractive force. In order to span a large tolerance zone, the outer part is axially provided with multiple slits on both sides. The outer part is provided with a polygonal shape and thereby detects the deformations to be measured, not over the entire periphery, but it records theres via the contacts axially oriented through the axial lines. The extension is integrated in a peripheral direction between the contacts and is transferred into the inner part.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2003Date of Patent: October 19, 2004Assignee: Bundesrepublik Deutschland vertreten durch das Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Arbeit, dieses vertreten durch den Präsidenten der Physikalisch-Technischen BundesanstaltInventors: Falk Tegtmeier, Manfred Peters
