Abstract: Piston ring having an endless base ring and sealing ring have a radially outwardly directed base ring face side. The sealing ring has a radially inwardly directed, circularly running sealing ring inner side with three tangential cuts separating three sealing ring segments are arranged in a circumferential direction (U). The base and sealing rings are arranged in succession in a longitudinal direction (L). A top ring is arranged to adjoin the sealing ring having a top ring has a radially outwardly directed top ring outer side and a radially inwardly directed top ring inner side. The top ring has, on the side opposite the sealing ring, a radially running return flow channel extending radially, the sealing face side protrudes in a radial direction beyond the top ring outer side and the base ring face side. The base and the top rings have a greater tensile strength than the sealing ring.

  • Publication number: 20200386218
Abstract: An oil wiper packing for a piston rod of a crosshead piston compressor, and corresponding assembly method. The oil wiper packing has at least one chamber disc having a chamber disc cutout, wherein a wiper ring arranged in the chamber disc cutout. At least two chamber discs, each having a chamber disc cutout, are arranged in succession in a direction of extent (L), and a single wiper ring is in each chamber disc cutout. Each wiper ring has no play or only negligible play in the direction of extent (L) in the operating state but is movable in the radial direction. It is necessary to set the play in in the cold state during the assembly of the wiper rings. Such an arrangement allows advantageous wiping of oil, preventing oil from spreading in the direction of extent of the piston rod.

  • Patent number: 10859078
Abstract: Poppet valve for a piston compressor, having a valve body with a plurality of inlet ducts, wherein each inlet duct has an inlet section and an outlet section. The outlet section opens into a valve seat, wherein each inlet duct is assigned a closing element and a spring. The closing element can be moved in an axial direction (A) in such a way that the valve seat can be closed by way of the closing element. The spring has a first spring end section and a second spring end section, wherein the spring is arranged in the inlet duct and bears with the first spring end section against and is held on the inlet section of the inlet duct. The second spring end section is connected to the closing element, to bring about a pre-stressing force on the closing element, which pre-stressing force is oriented towards the valve seat.
