Abstract: A supply system for light sources connected in series is powered by one power line (SE), and a plurality of adjustment units (UR1, UR2, . . . , URJ, . . . URN) are interposed between the power line (SE) and an electric circuit (E) for in-series connection of light sources (SI1, SI2, . . . , SIJ, . . . SIN). Each of the adjustment units (URJ) has a (DC/ACJ) generator device for the generation of an alternating voltage. An electric transformer (TJ) is connected in cascade and functionally with the electric circuit (E). An electric central unit (C), connected to the generator devices, controls modulation of the alternating voltage supplied by the generator device, so as to obtain a current (z) circulating in the electric circuit (E), having pre-defined electric characteristics.

Abstract: A device for supplying and controlling a light source in a half-dipped signaling lamp includes at least one light source (3), housed in a base support, and a cap (4), removably fastened to the support base. At least one window seat (5a, 5b) is made in the cap and an optical prism (6a, 6b) is associated to the window seat. Reflecting means (7) direct a light beam emitted by the light source (3) toward the optical prism (6a, 6b) while sensor means (21) detect the intensity of the light radiation emitted by the light source (3) or of a representative quantity of the light radiation. A supply and control central unit (CC) receives the signals (S1, S2), coming from the sensor means (21) and supplies the light source (3).

Abstract: A drilling machine comprises a stand on which a carriage is guided and can be moved by a drive supported on the stand and engagable with the carriage for generating feed motion of the carriage along the guide. A drilling unit on the carriage includes a motor-driven spindle. An axially-fixed intermediate shaft on the stand engages the carriage and translates rotary motion of the intermediate shaft into linear motion of the carriage along the guide. Abstract: Frame for carrying a cover for a boat. The frame consists of a number of longitudinal beams which are hingeably coupled to one another to follow the shape of the boat. Transverse beam structures extend between opposing longitudinal beams and each transverse beam structure consists of a number of transverse beams which are hingeably connected to one another. At a hinge location not adjoining the longitudinal beams, ridge beams extend for carrying the cover. Abstract: A string dampener for a musical instrument is disclosed for dampening extraneous string noise caused by sympathetic vibrations. The dampener includes an attachment apparatus that releaseably attaches the dampener to a portion of a stringed instrument. The dampener also includes dampening material to dampen string vibrations. An arm section is included that is rotatably coupled to the attachment apparatus and has the dampening material disposed on at least a portion of the arm section. The arm section is used to selectively engage and disengage contact of the dampening material with one or more strings of the stringed instrument by rotation with respect to the attachment apparatus. The string dampener affords quick attachment and detachment from a stringed instrument as well as easy engagement and disengagement of the dampener with the strings of an instrument with a requisite amount of pressure on the strings to effect proper dampening of sympathetic vibrations.

Abstract: A high current, light weight, thermally stable, bidirectional semiconductor switch module in an electrical system uses MOSFET technology in a back-to-back parallel architecture. The device comprises a controller which permits it to operate in high electrical noise environments. The device is further controlled to operate in either or both directions based on external events such as voltage changes associated with the electrical system and with vehicle operating conditions. The device operates at currents typically from a few amperes to 1000 amperes and may be used as a circuit breaker, over voltage switch, isolation switch, transient protection switch, and voltage converter. The device functions to replace the solenoids and relays associated with starter motors in a vehicle electrical system.
Abstract: A circuit for a series motor for a power tool is disclosed, wherein reliable switching is achieved by means of two electronic switches, without the use of a mechanically disconnecting switch. To this end, two electronic switches, preferably triacs, are preferably connected in series to each other, the voltage drop across the triacs being continuously monitored by a monitoring circuit. A check for faults can be carried out before switching on the power tool. Alternatively, a fusible cutout can be tripped by means of a protective switch connected in parallel thereto.
