Abstract: A process of hard anodizing or Type III anodizing an aluminum article creates a heat stable, hard anodized, color surface on the exterior of the article. The process includes anodizing the aluminum article to achieve a hard anodized base layer on a surface of the article. A copper layer is deposited after the exterior is hard anodized. A tin layer is deposited after the step of depositing the copper layer.

Abstract: An egg poacher includes a cup having a bottom, a side wall extending upward from a perimeter of the bottom, an open top at a top edge of the side wall, and a plurality of perforations formed through the side wall but not through the bottom. The egg poacher may have a handle connected to a part of the side wall. The handle may be curved. A method of poaching an egg includes the steps of selecting an egg poacher, placing the egg poacher in a pan of simmering water, cracking open and placing a raw egg contents in the cup, cooking the egg contents, lifting and draining water from the cup, and releasing the cooked egg.
Abstract: A cookware set has vessels with vessel indicia indicating size characteristics of the top openings of the specific vessels and has lids sized and configured to fit the top openings of the vessels. The lid indicia correspond to the vessel indicia making it easy for a user to match the correct lid size to a vessel selected for use.
