Abstract: A cookware device includes a cooking vessel and a cover. The cover includes a transparent concave portion positioned centrally on the cover. The concave portion has exterior and interior surfaces curved downwardly toward the cooking vessel. The exterior surface of the cover surrounding the concave-portion is concentric with the concave portion and rises upwardly from an outer edge of the cover to integrally connect with the concave portion. When the cover is installed on a cooking apparatus condensed moisture will run along an interior surface of the cover to a base of the concave portion and drop into the cooking vessel to clear the cover and provide improved viewing of food contained in the vessel.
Abstract: A cookware lid has upper and lower holes provided on a recessed, sloping surface. The lower end of the recessed surface provides a reservoir to receive and drain liquid The upper holes allow steam and foam to escape a vessel, condense and run down the sloping surface into the reservoir and back into a vessel, avoiding boil over during cooking. The lid may also include a locking mechanism to attach to a vessel so as to further avoid boil over and also permit straining.
Abstract: A paper towel holder apparatus includes a base, a first guide piece disposed on the base, and a second guide piece disposed radially inward from the first guide piece on the base. The first and second guide pieces extend substantially perpendicularly from the surface of the base. With this configuration, a paper towel sheet from a paper towel roll is receivable between the first and second guide pieces. The spacing of the inner and outer guide pieces on the top surface of the base allows for the ready position for the next paper towel to be more consistently achieved.
Abstract: A cutlery implement includes a blade, a tang and a handle. An insignia or making is located on an end surface of the handle facing away from the blade, the insignia indicating the type of blade attached to the handle. The blade and tang are part of a single piece of forged metal. The tang extends substantially the entire length of the handle and includes a surface visible from the top of the handle.
