  • Patent number: 10859594
Abstract: A detector for a bicycle that includes a magnet, which generates a generated magnetic field, and a magnetic field sensor. The mutual position of the magnet and of the sensor is fixed, and the sensor is immersed in the generated magnetic field. A length of a path intended for a non-diamagnetic movable element is immersed in the generated magnetic field; if in said path length there is at least one actual portion of the movable element, the sensor detects the magnetic field perturbed by the actual portion of the movable element. Bicycle equipment and a bicycle derailleur are also described.

  • Patent number: 10696358
Abstract: A bicycle derailleur comprising a chain guide, an electric motor that displaces the chain guide and an electrically controllable device configured to, selectively, block the rotation of the electric motor and let the electric motor free to rotate. A method for actuating a bicycle derailleur comprising a chain guide and an electric motor that displaces the chain guide, comprises the steps of: receiving a gearshifting request signal; making the electric motor free to rotate; driving the electric motor to displace the chain guide until the chain guide is in an intended position while the electric motor is made free to rotate; and, blocking the rotation of the electric motor.

  • Patent number: 10689058
Abstract: The bicycle handlebar assembly comprises a handlebar rod and at least one oleo-hydraulic group for controlling on-board bicycle equipment; the oleo-hydraulic group is housed inside the handlebar rod. The internal housing in the handlebar rod overcomes any problems of bulk of the oleo-hydraulic group. Moreover, thanks to the relatively large size of the handlebar rod, the dimensional constraints imposed on the designer are much less stringent with respect to controls associated directly to the brake lever; it is thus relatively easy to make controls capable of exerting very large forces.

  • Patent number: 10676154
Abstract: A bicycle front derailleur that is movable between shift positions in association with an indexer. The inner mechanical end stop is adjusted at the first indexing position so there is no loosening of the control cable in the last downward gearshifting operation, with the benefit of an immediate and rapid response in the first upward gearshifting operation. The outer end stop is adjusted to interrupt the rotation of the cable-winding bush before it reaches the last indexing position. This pair of mechanical end stops limits the excursion of the derailleur to prevent it being able to shift the chain too much towards the frame or too much away from the frame, which ensures that the chain is not shifted beyond the gears.
