Patent number: 12166115Abstract: Embedded die packaging for high voltage, high temperature operation of power semiconductor devices is disclosed, wherein a power semiconductor die is embedded in package body comprising dielectric layers and electrically conductive layers, and where an external dielectric coating, such as a solder resist coating is provided on one or both external sides of the package body. The solder resist coating is patterned to avoid inside corners, e.g. the solder resist does not extend around or between electrical contact areas and thermal pads. It is observed that in conventional solder resist coatings, during thermal cycling, cracks tend to initiate at high stress points, such as at sharp inside corners. A solder resist layout which omits inside corners, and comprises outside corners only, is demonstrated to provide significantly improved resistance to initiation and propagation of cracks. Where inside corners are unavoidable, they are appropriately radiused to reduce stress.Type: GrantFiled: June 25, 2021Date of Patent: December 10, 2024Assignee: Infineon Technologies Canada Inc.Inventors: Cameron McKnight-MacNeil, Ahmad Mizan, Maryam Abouie

Patent number: 12157646Abstract: A secondary silo on a second portable frame is independently portable relative to a primary silo and a vertical conveyor on a first portable frame. The vertical conveyor conveys flowable proppant material from an intake hopper below the primary silo into either one of the silos. The silos have gravity discharge chutes that are gravity fed directly into a proppant blender unit. An unloader on wheels is self-propelled and steerable relative to the silos. The unloader can be lowered relative to the wheels to sit on the ground to allow vehicles to drive over the unloader for discharge. Intake hoppers of the unloader can be raised up against the vehicle to form a closed duct discharging from the vehicles into the unloader. A discharge of the unloader forms a closed passage with the intake hopper of the vertical conveyor.Type: GrantFiled: July 12, 2022Date of Patent: December 3, 2024Assignee: JDL Canada Inc.Inventor: Lonny James Thiessen

Patent number: 12159452Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and predicting text within images. An image is passed to a feature-extraction module. Each image typically contains at least one text object, and each text object contains at least one character. Based on the image, the feature-extraction module generates at least one feature map indicating text object(s) in the image. The feature map(s) is then passed to a decoder module. In son implementations, the decoder module applies a weighted mask to the feature map(s). Based on the feature map(s), the decoder module predicts a sequence of characters in the text object(s). In some embodiments, that prediction is based on previous known data. The decoder module is directed by a query that indicates at least one desired characteristic of the text object(s). An output module then refines the predicted content. At least one neural network may be used.Type: GrantFiled: November 14, 2019Date of Patent: December 3, 2024Assignee: ServiceNow Canada Inc.Inventors: Perouz Taslakian, Negin Sokhandan Asl
