Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include a mobile client device for automatically performing a mobile financial service function, including a memory storing software instructions, the software instructions including a mobile financial service application configured to perform financial service processes. The system may also include and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to detect a physical action performed on the mobile client device, and determine a first financial service function to perform based on the detected physical action, wherein the first financial service function is a function provided by the mobile financial service application. The one or more processors may also determine whether verification of a user is required, verify the user if verification of the user is required, and automatically initiate the first financial service function.

The wireless device reads card data from the financial account card when it is inserted into the slot and programs an RFID (radio frequency identification) tag or a memory included in the wireless device. The wireless device may then be used to provide payment by transmitting the card data via radio frequency to a nearby RFID reader using the RFID tag. The financial account card may also be ejected from the wireless device and swiped by a magnetic card reader.

Abstract: A wireless device is enabled to process a transaction. In one implementation, the wireless device receives card data for a plurality of financial account cards and stores the card data in memory associated with the wireless device. The wireless device determines merchant information for the transaction and determines rewards benefit information for at least some of the plurality of financial account cards. The wireless device provides a suggestion of at least one of the plurality of financial account cards to use in the transaction based on the determined rewards benefit information.
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include a method for generating a response when a user encounters an error while using a servicing system. The method may include determining a user has encountered an error using a servicing system based on a trigger event associated with a system failure, logging the error in association with identifying information of the user, analyzing the error according to one or more pre-configured rules to determine an error level associated with the error, and selecting one or more responses to the error based on the error level, with at least one response being directed to the user in real-time. The method may include determining a medium for transmitting the one or more responses based on a type of device operated by the user when the user encountered the error, and transmitting the one or more responses using at least the determined medium.

Abstract: A system for linking a gift card with a financial account of a financial service provider may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to receive gift card data including a credit balance of a gift card associated with a user. The processor may be configured to determine a financial account of the user with the financial service provider and associate the gift card data with the financial account of the user. Additionally, the processor may be configured to receive transaction data for a purchase transaction of the user at a merchant. The transaction data may include an identifier of the financial account of the user. Based on the identifier of the financial account of the user, the processor may be further configured to apply at least a portion of the credit balance of the gift card to the purchase transaction.
