Abstract: A system is provided for generating variable haptic feedback. The system comprises a first haptic feedback device configured to generate haptic feedback according to a received output signal, an input device configured to receive instructions from a remote source, the instructions comprising a haptic feedback output identifier, and a memory device for storing a plurality of haptic feedback profiles, the haptic feedback profiles defining unique haptic feedback patterns characterized at least by a duration and intensity of feedback to be generated by the first haptic feedback device, and said haptic feedback profiles being associated with a haptic feedback output identifier. The system also includes a processor configured to generate and transmit an output signal to the first haptic feedback device according to a haptic feedback profile associated with a received haptic feedback output identifier, said output signal comprising a haptic feedback pattern defined by said haptic feedback profile.

Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to overlaying relevant product information in augmented reality via the use of near-field communication (NFC) and a product selection system. A user may authenticate into an application or user profile. Information about the user in the user profile may be used to determine which products are relevant to the user. Information related to the relevant products may then be displayed to the user in augmented reality, which improves at least the overall shopping and in-store experience.

Abstract: Systems and methods for autonomous banking resources are disclosed. Embodiments include a mobile banking resource including an unmanned motorized vehicle, a controller configured to control the movement of the motorized vehicle, an authentication device configured to verify the identity of a user, a server configured to communicate with the controller and the authentication device, and a user interface module configured to interface with the user conducting a transaction. The user interface module may include a user input device configured to receive user input, and a communication interface module configured to communicate with a server and the user input device. The controller may be configured to operate the motorized vehicle to move the motorized vehicle to a location based on a predicted behavior of the user.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a presentation of a user interface may be dynamically modified for a user based on data related to the user's email address or other user identifier. As an example, the user interface may be caused to reflect the look and feel of an interface of an entity trusted by the user, incorporate data items related to the user's identifier, or effectuate other modifications. In some embodiments, a user identifier of a user may be received via a user interface associated with the third party, and a query for data related to one or more user accounts associated with the user identifier may be generated. Based on the query, multiple datasets associated with different user accounts may be received, and a first dataset associated with a first account of the user may be selected over other datasets associated with the user's other accounts effectuate the presentation modification.

Abstract: Aspects described herein may allow for the generation of a message to be sent to an intended recipient of a request for a communication session prior the initiation of the communication session. The system may monitor applications and associated devices to determine the initiation of the communication session. Based on such a determination, the system may generate a message to be presented to a communication initiating user and to be sent to an intended recipient of the communication session. The system may determine data for the message based on an analysis of the data associated with the communication initiating user, and the system may apply a machine learning model to generate draft messages for the user. Messages may be generated to authenticate a user with an intended recipient of the communication session.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments generally relate to transaction card constructions, and particularly, to a two-piece transaction card construction. Disclosed embodiments include a generally planar first card component including a first surface and a generally planar second card component including a second surface wherein the first card component is separate from the second card component. In disclosed embodiments, for example, the generally planar first card component and the generally planar second card component may be configured such that one forms a cavity and the other forms an inlay component configured to be seated within the cavity. In other embodiments the generally planar first card component and the generally planar second card component may be configured such that one forms a container and the other forms a lid configured to close the container.

Abstract: In certain embodiments, a current amount of an item available from a network resource may be monitored. Based on the monitoring indicating that the current amount fails to satisfy a first threshold, one or more sources may be identified. The one or more sources may be within a threshold proximity of the network resource, and distances between the one or more sources and the network resource may be determined. One or more requests for the amounts of the item to be transferred from the one or more sources to the network resource within time frames may be generated. For example, the time frames may be based on the distances. The one or more requests may be transmitted to the one or more sources.

Abstract: Embodiments are described for a system and method for providing a list of current offers from retailers to a user operating a mobile client device. Aspects of the method comprise analyzing a transaction history of the user to identify a vendor who has transacted with the user; determining a present geographic location of the user based on a location of the mobile client device; determining a location of the vendor proximate the user based on the transaction history and the present geographic location of the user; searching for a current promotion offered by the vendor; and facilitating the serving of the current promotion to the user through the mobile client device.

Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for executing a point of sale deposit. In one embodiment, a system may include one or more memory devices storing software instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to receive deposit information related to a point of sale deposit from a mobile device, and generate a deposit token retaining at least the deposit information and deposit authorization information. The one or more processors may also be configured to transmit the deposit token to the mobile device for displaying a readable code generated based on the deposit token, receive a point of sale deposit authorization notification from the merchant device indicating at least receipt by the merchant device of the deposit token from the mobile device, and transfer funds to a financial service account based on the received deposit information and authorization notification.

Abstract: Methods and systems for dynamically updating machine learning models that provide conversational responses through the use of a configuration file that defines modifications and changes to the machine learning model are disclosed. For example, the configuration file may be used to define an expected behavior and required attributes for instituting modifications and changes (e.g., via a mutation algorithm) to the machine learning model.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for determining a performance shift due to an applied condition, excluding other, e.g., environmental, factors. One mechanism for determining a performance shift due to an applied condition involves using two datasets (e.g., a control dataset and a test dataset) for two different populations. A training dataset is used to train a machine learning model to build a control dataset to be used in a second machine learning model together with a test dataset to determine whether a performance shift between the two datasets is due to the condition that was applied to the test dataset.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to techniques for optimizing hyperparameters, such as optimizing different combinations of hyperparameters, for instance. Some embodiments are particularly directed using a genetic or Bayesian algorithm to identify and optimize different combinations of hyperparameters for a machine learning (ML) model. Many embodiments construct a search using a genetic algorithm that prioritizes the most important hyperparameters in influencing model performance.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for generating dynamic conversational responses. For example, dynamic conversational responses may facilitate an interactive exchange with users. Therefore, the methods and systems used specialized methods to enriched data that may be indicative of a user’s intent prior to processing that data through the machine learning model, as well as a specialized architecture for the machine learning models that take advantage of the user interface format.

A model optimizer of the cloud computing system can provision computing resources of the cloud computing system with a data model. A dataset generator of the cloud computing system can generate a synthetic dataset for training the data model. The computing resources can train the data model using the synthetic dataset. The model optimizer can store the data model and metadata of the data model in a model storage. The cloud computing system can receive production data from a data source by a production instance of the cloud computing system using a common file system. The production data can be processed using the data model by the production instance. The computing resources, the dataset generator, and the model optimizer can be hosted by separate virtual computing instances of the cloud computing system.

An application may receive input specifying a text statement type and determine a plurality of heuristics for identifying statements of the statement type in transcripts. The application may determine, based on a first heuristic, a first text statement of the statement type. The application may generate, based on a clustering algorithm, a plurality of additional statements of the statement type. The application may receive a first text transcript. The application may identify, based on a second heuristic, a first text statement in the first text transcript, where the first text transcript statement is of the statement type. The application may generate a graphical indication that the first text transcript statement is of the statement type, and display the first transcript statement and the graphical indication on a display.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for group bill payment comprising creating a secure group bill payment account associated with a plurality of group members. The group bill payment account may be configured to receive information via a network from the plurality of group members; permit a group member to manage the group bill payment account following an authentication process; and transmit a group payment to a provider. Systems and methods may further comprise receiving instructions from a group member to create a rule for requesting payment, the bill being from a provider and associated with group members; receiving the bill issued by the provider; determining a charge based on the bill and the rule; sending a payment request based on the charge; receiving a deposit into the group bill payment account; transmitting a group payment; and sending a notification.

Abstract: Learning frameworks for processing text transcripts may include receiving, by an application, a query comprising a topic. A topic model may determine a plurality of subtopics based on the topic. The application may receive, from a database based on the topic and plurality of subtopics, a plurality of text transcripts. A sentiment model may compute, for each text transcript, a respective sentiment score based on a text of the respective text transcript. The application may determine, for each text transcript, a duration of a communication session associated with the respective text transcript. The application may compute, for each text transcript, a total score based on the sentiment score and the duration of the respective text transcript. The application may return, as responsive to the query, a subset of the plurality of text transcripts having a total score that exceeds a threshold.

Abstract: Systems and methods for verified messaging through the interaction involving a short-range transceiver, such as a contactless card, a client device and a server are presented. Verified messaging may be provided in the context of using a client device to receive a user identifier from the user's short-range transceiver, such as a contactless card, and sending a messaging request with the user identifier to a server, which may look up client device information and compare with data about the client device accompanying the request. Matching received client device information to stored client device data based on a user identifier obtained from a short-range transceiver provides an enhanced ability to verify that the client device corresponds to the user associated with the short-range transceiver.
