    Abstract: A system and method for controlling the level of a process water pond is provided. According to one aspect of the invention, the method includes increasing the evaporation rate of the process water pond through the addition of heat from a power plant. According to another aspect, the method includes pumping process water through a condenser of the power plant. According to a further aspect, the method includes pumping substantially pure feedwater between a condenser of the power plant and a heat exchanger in thermal communication with the process water pond. According to yet another aspect, the method includes selectively pumping feedwater between a cooling tower and a condenser of the power plant, or pumping process water between the process water pond and the condenser. Aspects further provide a method for increasing recovery of substances contained in process water, and a method for cleaning a stagnant process water pond.

    Abstract: A sealed multi-handled bag is provided that includes a first handle at a first end and a second handle at a second end. In one embodiment, the handles are on substantially opposite ends of the bag. The sealed bag may be made from plastic and may contain loose materials, such as a salt. In some embodiments, one or more of the handles are formed from heat-sealed layers of bag material having a grip cut therein. A method for filling and sealing the multi-handled sealed bag includes filling a bag having a first closed end through a second open end, and sealing the second open end to form a handle. In one embodiment, sealing the second open end includes heat-sealing opposing layers of bag material together and cutting a handle through the layers. In another embodiment, the method includes folding-over the layers of bag material.

According to another aspect, the method includes injecting a mixture of air and steam into fluid in a container via a bubble tube. Aspects of the present invention further provide a differential pressure bubbler system that includes a bubble tube mounted to a tank at an angle of about 5 degrees to 90 degrees. Aspects additionally provide a bubble tube having a diameter of about 1 inch to about 6 inches. Further aspects include a bubble tube having pressurized air and steam inputs.
