Abstract: A web material dispenser includes a housing and a pivotable roll support assembly provided therein. A first mandrel is provided at a first attachment location of the roll support assembly to support a first roll of web material. A second mandrel is provided at a second location of the roll support assembly to support a second roll of web material. The web material dispenser permits one-handed operation to replace the rolls of web material and to change positions of the mandrels within the dispenser. The roll support assembly may have a linkage arm and/or a roll support arm. Positions of the first and second mandrels relative to the dispenser's opening can be switched by pivoting the linkage arm relative to the housing and by pivoting the roll support arm relative to the linkage arm. A method for switching positions of rolls in the web material dispenser is also provided.

Abstract: Systems and techniques for linguistically-driven automated text formatting are described herein. Data representing the linguistic structure of input text may be received from Natural Language Processing (NLP) Services, including but not limited to constituents, dependencies, and coreference relationships. A text model of the input text may be built using the linguistic components and relationships. Cascade rules may be applied to the text model to generate a cascaded text data structure. Cascaded data may be displayed on a range of media, including a phone, tablet, laptop, monitor, VR/AR devices. Cascaded data may be presented in dual screen formats to promote more accurate and efficient reading comprehension, greater ease in teaching native and foreign language grammatical structures, and tools for remediation of reading-related disabilities.

Abstract: A density detection system uses a magnetic force feedback actuator positioner to maintain a precise selected pressure between transducer wheels and the surface of a sheet of material as the sheet of material moves through a position between transducer wheel and lift wheel. Consequently, the antiquated mechanical/pneumatic springs/airbags of prior art ultrasonic density detection systems are replaced with a highly responsive magnetic force feedback actuator positioner capable of providing a precise and relatively constant force that can react to the introduction of a sheet of material, and/or variations in the surface of a sheet of material, extremely rapidly without the bounce/recovery oscillations associated with prior art ultrasonic density detection systems. Consequently, precise density measurements of an entire sheet of material can be obtained with unprecedented accuracy.
Abstract: A system and method for closing and sealing a cone is provided. One embodiment extends a first closing head in a first downward slant onto an open top of the cone filled with the smokable material to form a first fold on the top of the cone; extends a sealing head downward onto the first fold; extends a second closing head in a second downward slant onto the open top of the cone to form a second fold on the top of the cone; extends the sealing head downward onto the first fold and the second fold; extends a third closing head in a third downward slant onto the open top of the cone to form a third fold on the top of the cone; and extends the sealing head downward onto the first fold, the second fold, and the third fold.

Abstract: A load alignment aid with range finding sensors positioned diagonally on a mounting platform to calculate range, vertical alignment, and horizontal alignment. Each sensor measures a distance (d) from the mounting platform to the load. Where d(1) does not equal d(2) and d(1) does not equal d(3), a misalignment due to tilt or chassis misalignment is detected. The aid further includes a display which may show a graphic representation of the approach to a load and an alert for misalignment notification.
Abstract: An acoustic fiber silencer for a motor vehicle includes a first sound absorbing layer and a second sound insulating layer. The layers are formed of lightweight fibrous material, and the sound insulating layer is quilted. The acoustic fiber silencer includes a frame to which the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers are secured. The frame provides structural support and shape to the sound absorbing and sound insulating layers. The acoustic fiber silencer is lightweight while maintaining excellent noise attenuation properties.

Abstract: A web material dispenser for housing two or more rolls is provided. The web material dispenser includes a housing having a fixed housing portion provided with a first roll support assembly coupled thereto for supporting a first roll of web material. The housing further has a movable housing portion, movable between a closed position and an open position, provided with a second roll support assembly coupled thereto for supporting a second roll of web material. The fixed and movable housing portions defining a housing chamber therebetween when the movable portion is in the closed position, for at least partially enclosing the two or more rolls of web material within the housing chamber. The movable portion is moved to the open position for providing access to the two or more rolls and allowing replacement of at least one of the first and second rolls.
