  • Publication number: 20140157192
Abstract: When having determined that the input event from a client unit is the selection of an object, a server unit requests the client unit to transmit display area information that sets a display screen area on the drawing data. The server unit acquires the display area information transmitted from the client unit in response to the request. The server unit determines whether the area of the object selected on the drawing data fits in the display screen area corresponding to the acquired display area information. If having determined that the area of the object does not fit in the display screen area, the server unit changes the display area information so that the area of the object may fit in the display screen area and transmits the changed display area information to the client unit. The client unit displays the drawing data received from the server unit.

  • Patent number: 8743346
Abstract: The present invention provides an inexpensive range image sensor and etc. A range image sensor comprises diffractive optical elements and on which are formed diffractive gratings that change a traveling direction of incident parallel light so that in a coordinate space defined by a xyz-axis, the incident parallel light is split into split beams, and angles formed by the x-axis and line segments determined by projected light spots formed by the split beams on a predetermined projection plane intersecting the z-axis become predetermined angles. Furthermore, the range image sensor is provided with a distance determining unit for determining distances to the projected light spots on the basis of the tilting with respect to the x-axis of the line segments determined by the projected light spots formed on the object by the split beams.

  • Patent number: 8743663
Abstract: A high-speed rotating wheel rotates at high speed by a third stepper motor which meshes with a portion of teeth of a ratchet wheel. A transmission projection of the ratchet wheel moves within an elongated hole of a transmission wheel which rotates with the movement of the hour hand. The ratchet wheel rotates at high speed, and a display wheel rotates at high speed by the high speed rotation of the ratchet wheel via a feed wheel. When normally moving the hour hand, the ratchet wheel rotates with the transmitting wheel and the portion of teeth of the ratchet wheel is made to approach the high-speed rotating wheel. When the display of the display wheel changes, the high-speed rotating wheel meshes with the portion of teeth of the ratchet wheel and rotates the ratchet wheel at high-speed. Accordingly, the date display of the display wheel can be quickly changed.

  • Patent number: 8744170
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an obtaining section, a detection section, a first identification section and a second identification section. The obtaining section obtains image data of a first picked-up image and a second picked-up image picked up by an image pickup section. The detection section detects a brightness change region where brightness changes at predetermined time intervals in the first picked-up image on the basis of the obtained image data of the first picked-up image. The first identification section performs straight line detection processing on the obtained image data of the second picked-up image to detect a straight line, so as to identify a candidate straight line in a corresponding region corresponding to the brightness change region. The second identification section identifies a quadrilateral region including the candidate straight line as an extraction candidate region in the second picked-up image.

  • Publication number: 20140144310
Abstract: An electronic stringed instrument has a bridge section attached to one end portion of each of a plurality of conductive strings; a string touch sensor detecting a pitch when the strings are respectively pressed against and conducted to a plurality of conductive metal frets; bridge saddles and insulation tubes, which insulate the strings from the bridge section; and electrically conductive tubes, serving as connection sections, respectively connected and conducted to the strings. While holding a string with a finger, the same string can be picked, and the string pushed by the finger can be pressed against the metal fret. Accordingly, the string can be operated without a sense of incongruity. Because the strings and the bridge section can be insulated even when the bridge section is formed of metal, musical sound information can be precisely and reliably detected, and a favorable musical performance can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 8736703
Abstract: When a continuous imaging mode is set, a screen is displayed for allowing input of a number of images to shoot and the imaging parameters for each of the images, a determination is made as to whether the number of images to shoot and the imaging parameters for each of the images have been input by the user. When the number of images to shoot and the imaging parameters for each of the images have been input, the input number of images and the imaging parameters are stored, and a direct image display is started. Moreover, when there is an imaging instruction, a continuous imaging process is started in which still imaging is performed continuously based on the stored number of images and the imaging parameters. When the continuous imaging process has been completed, the plurality of still image data, obtained with differing imaging parameters, is recorded.
